A word for a man who made this possible...

Yesterday, E. Gary Gygax, co-creator of the Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game, died.

His creation invented roleplaying, and without it, we would not be here today. He touched countless lives, indirectly, with this thing he made, and I believe that it has been a positive influence on many, many people.

Rest In Peace.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

I had heard this - even though i never have been interested in the DnD world, i have nothing but respect for the guy who created such a successful and deep developed world. It's truly a great loss to the entire roleplaying community.

May he rest in peace, wherever that may be.

While, Nerdosapiens always had the capacity for play make believe. It took a brave man to make it into a much berated phenomenon.

Rest in Peace, dear Gygax. We owe you (the loss of) our lives.

It takes Chaos to move the world to Action.
