Yeah, last night was fun, keeping in character made it a lot more entertaining than the usual PUGs. How much longer did the rest of you carry on after I left? I'm currently level 7, and I'd like to know whether I've got any catching up to do .
Beetle / Ace: How did you feel about the knockback? I've only been using power thrust (?) but I noticed on quite a few occasions you were running towards me to get the bad guy, then back again to try and get close to him . Was it really annoying, or something you can live with?
All: Are we happy with the group mix? I normally play support characters so a blaster is a bit of a change in pace for me. With VGX, Heatwave (iirc) and me, won't we be a bit blaster heavy? I have a earth/rad controller (currently level 12) that I can fit into the group in a few levels time if people feel we need a bit more support.

What's up with weekends? I thought we'd be sticking to Sunday nights.
As for weekdays, Monday - Wednesday are tricky for me, lots of other commitments. If Thursdays are also out then I'd have to vote for Fridays.

Sorry i couldnt make this, currently suffering from Manflu, and havent been out of bed from Friday until this morning.
I'll level up Omega Shot to level 7/8 and hopefully join you guys. Just gimme a time and place.
Great nights clockwork bashing , good fun , looks like we have a well balanced team make up to ... always helps
we stopped after Jack Shot left just lvled and chatted .
Blaster heavy is ok just long as you let the tank/s get good agro , unless you want the debt badge early .. lots of blaster will also kill fast which helps ... once taunt is online will be even less of a issue ..
As to knockback not a issue , Ace was running around a lot as he has no taunt yet , so needed to hit mobs off of the less armoured characters .
As to next meet im ok apart from Sat 8th ..i can be flexable as long as i know the day before
Last night was indeed the most fun i have had in sometime of playing the game, VGX had to do it's part as it is meant to, I.E support role, and since nearly all of it's attacks have some form of knockback on them, it came in handy to keep the bad guys away from it.
I think the team as a whole has a really good set up, even with the sudden bad lag we had last night i only saw one person go to skull, of course a healer character maybe needed for the more higher level guys, but we can see if there is the need once everything is up to the levels later in the game.
For the next meet time: anything as long as i have at least a days notice, so i can replan anything that maybe at the time around it.
As for where this to go: UP and up, if anything i believe those could of been the quickest times i have done in teams for thoses missions/levels. And the idea of following the clockwork story arc i feel could work, of course theres the taskforce of them, but you don't have to do that all in one night, it can be spread over a few nights, which will work to our way of doing this.
I have got a small sidestory already set up and waiting to go for VGX as to why it's there and how it came to be that it found the group, but that can wait for once we are a bit further on.
One question: Are we going to end up going into a SG together, get the team a base of operations?
A healer probably won't be needed, as we get higher, my buffing will become better, and we'll be killing stuff too quick to need one.
And about a base of operations, definately! Vero owns a run down mechanics in KR that could easily be converted, if we wanted to do that?
I'm thinking this will, initially, be a group of people drawn together by circumstance, who are forced together by the costant machine machinations of the Clockwork. By the end of the taskforce, i'm basically expecting it to be given that they're a team. And i'm more than happy for you to run a plot based on the company.
Anyway, we've still got one slot open, as it stands, so if anyone's interested, we're still open!
And the thread for the IC post bits'll be up when i get home tomorrow, because i'm really tired now and am struggling to type in an efficient manner.
If you guys set a time, i'll try to be there, but at the moment i've just got changeover in job role so it could be that I might be unavailable for some meetings

Sorry I haven't posted, things have been a little hectic here at the moment. I was hoping to have arranged a date by now, but that seems rather unlikely. It seems friday's the only option now, unless people are okay with rushing for tonight. The weekend is also manageable for me this weekend, if everyone else can manage, but like I said, it won't always be the case.
I'm happy for tonight or friday, both nights are perfect for me.

Time will, with the exception of oddities like the taskforce, always be fairly similar, in this case about 7:30

Im up for tonight, i'd tentatively like to swap to MCU Omega for this instead of Shot, he's a bubbler and not only has a more thought of backstory, a new build type to me (never bubbled) he's also already lvl 8.

im sadly a tad busy tonight and won't be on till 8:30/9:00pmish at the earlyest, ever then i have something else to attend to, im fine for friday, or any point over the weekend.
I think this friday would be the best shot, any objections to that?

I'm free Friday so I'll join up with you, probably around 7:45.
I decided to log on during the week and do a little police work, so I've got the 'Protect Atlas Park Bank' mission lined up at level 7. I figured the rate we were leveling when grouped, it'd be likely that we'd miss it. That and the raptor pack fits well with tech heroes and helps out no end .
Anyway, are we switching to Friday as a permanent thing? Fridays work better for me, but I really need to plan in advance around a single day, so keeping it the same would really help.
Oh and Rock, read the bio on Ace ( Ace Powerfist ), very good. I've got a couple of screen shots of him from last time, if you want to see them, let me know.
