That temp power is purely GFX and there for the lore, it does not actually do anything. Lore wise, it should be impossible to kill Honoree without it, but it does not actualy do anything.
Gonna try to see if i can dig up the Dev post confirming this... But you could always try it out yourself, done it dozens of times both with and without the aura, no difference.

After completing the LGTF a fair few times now i have come to realise that it may be a good idea to farm the temp power that the team leaders get for defeating the weakend hami.
(maybe this is the new system to beating hami the devs were takling about)
This power usually only last till the end of the TF BUT if you leave the tf then u have this temp for 2 weeks
This temp power increases damage done to transdimensional beings ie hami
I propose that a hami temp power farm starts soon on a mass scale to make the idea of a hami raid more realistic. This will increase the damage dealt to hami and make our lives easier.
