From chatting to people last night, this is looking like a popular enough idea to at least make it worth trying out.
I will sort out channel invites to "OVTeaming" later on. Watch the message of the day for events, and if anyone wants a particular TF, let me know. If there's enough inerest from our guys too, I'll be happy to set it up.
On a related note, the "master of" attempts will probably not happen more than once every week or two. I enjoyed the runs last weekend, but that was just too much concentration wise to do again in one weekend any time soon! I do have a reasonable list of people who'd like to do one, both hero and villain side, and intend to work down that in order of being asked as far as is possible while keeping teams that can run it. The next MoSTF we do, I would look to invite the people who joined for the failed one last time if you want to join - the team was quite clearly capable of doing it, we breezed straight through the trickier parts, just expect me to nag about paying attention and sticking together in the easy bits too!

Just a quick thanks to the people who have joined and are helping make this work! Lots of fun over the weekend and latter part of last week, some great teaming, and also some drunken teaming. I think we've managed to get most of you killed at least once now! It's great to have a group of good players who hop on and chat to us while playing, even if I am still struggling with some of the accents - I'll get better. 
Expect more of the same in the coming week.
Keep watching the motd for "stoof". If anyone wants to plan a particular TF/SF please feel free - let me or one of the other ops know and we'll amend the motd for you. A couple of people have asked about the Mender Silos TF in particular - just sorting a time with one of the blokes in the SG who I know'd really like to do it and I'll stick a time up for that shortly - it's a fun one for a week night, short, but lots of AVs.
Having a lot of fun with you guys lately, as my regular crowd all seem to have switched to Pirates of the Burning Sea for now.
And some of you English have the weirdest accents! I am fully convinced there are as many variants of English in Britain as there is in the rest of the world - and a lot more than in relatively homogeneous areas like Australia or the US.
Hehe, I actually think the CoH crowd are one of the tamest accent wise in OV, although of couse that might be because they're all English and so am I - we've members from all over Europe in most games.
At some point you will probably hear a drunken Irish bloke called Algore when he accidentally stumbles into the CoH room on coms instead of the one he's aiming for and decides to stay for a chat. If you can work out what he's talking about let us know - we've been looking for someone to translate for years.

Nope, it's me that should be the slap-target...
Real silly - I tried to keep within a few feet of the tank all the time and to be conservative with my attacks - up until then, and then: "Oh, great, yet another ambush, I'll just Shiver them, so they get easier to mop up. What! 70% damaged! Better kick in a green... Why isnt it activating? Oh, I'm dead..." 
I'm glad I've set teamspeak for push-button and not voice activation, or you would have learned some new swedish curses.
Hehe, these things happen, we all got a bit careless if I'm honest.
Be doing it again at the weekend if you're interested? Will drop you a global message when we've a definite time, but Sunday evening is looking likely.

Hehe, although expect less TFs from us this weekend, we went into overdrive last weekend - lots of teams though me hopes, and definitely a Citadel with a spot or two free I'd imagine - will update channel motd when I've got myself a bit better organised this week.
Got too many characters I'm enjoying at the moment though!
Sorry Okton, should have used PMs for the MoSTF - will be looking to rerun it with the same team as last time, possibly one change. Next one of either flavour we do, I'll be sure to ask you! Will be looking for tanking volunteers for future attempts as Terra has (quite understandably, given the amount of tanking/bruting she's done for us!) said she'd like to play some other characters than Pyro Joe and Swampy, but that will definitely be a couple of weeks though as I'm moving next weekend (I think I might have mentioned this once or twice over the last few days ). Anyone wanting to have a go at filling Joe's boots (or Swampy's shorts) let me know!
I mumbled something about this ages ago, and never got round to doing anything about it.
Lately we've got shockingly sociable, and teamed regularly with quite a few people from outside our SG for TFs and SFs, most of whom use Teamspeak with us and (I hope) have enjoyed yourselves as much as we have.
Were looking at inviting people we like teaming with (and vice versa) to our SG's global channel, really just to make it simpler to organise stuff.
My intention would be to use the message of the day to put up times/dates and available spaces in TFs and SFs, rather than me sending tells every time we organise something and have a couple of spots free, or other people sending me tells asking us what we're up to. Basically I just want to use it as a way of quickly letting people who team with us regularly know what stuff's being run, and what spots there are free (we normally have one or two in most things we do), so you can just let me (or whoever is organising) know if you want to come along.
I don't think the channel will be particularly heavy on chat. We're not a huge SG and we tend to use teamspeak to talk a lot of the time anyway, this really would be just for convenience of organising stuff.
If you team with us a bit, and think this is something you'd be interested in, reply here, drop me a PM or a global message, and if it looks viable I'll be setting it up over the next couple of days.
