Not sure about the actual numbers but I certainly find genin useful to keep around. If nothing else you get more out of bodyguard mode (let us know if you dont know what bodyguard mode is). Plus they throw caltrops and at the end of the day the damage all adds up.
Ninja's tend to be a bit fast and crazy but I like that sort of thing :O)
Oh, and IMO its worth picking up aid other from the medicine pool.

If someone was to say Ninjas are bad, don't pick it. I'd read it as someone saying "I am poo with Ninjas" or "It doesn't suit my intentions in play". What you put it with and how you play matters. I got a Ninja/TA. Looks like a late developer. Interesting though as it gives me things to think in terms of problems to overcome.

Under Mastermind_pets you can see all its powers. Smokeflash or whatever the primairy power is called (10sec crit.damage nonstop) really is awsome when your genin does that firebreath power, lovely damage. His mez powers become the containment version of fire trollers

It's Oni that uses the fire powers, not Genin.

Nope, it's the Jounin that use Caltrops.
Personally I don't use the Genin much at all when teamed unless we are taking on AVs or I need to take the alpha strike.

Whether they're overall good or bad I've always liked Genin. As a mastermind I've always been of the opinion that "more ablative meatshields = good".
But then that may just be me.

Ok so i have been going through the MM's primary and secondary powers and i've got far with a good few of them. Now i heard ninjas were kinda bad and i must say i disagree. Jounin rule and Genin seem to die a lot but do some good damage for a tier 1, well from what i can see so are Genin all that bad? I slotted them 3 Dmg 3 Acc and they do ok. Anyone got the numbers on their damage and defence in comparison to the other tier 1s.
