Have Minions, Can Travel?
Any travel power that takes you more than 160ft away from your minions will leave them behind you and they will respawn next to you. SS, SJ and Teleport will do this, Flight less so. I can fly across a city with them running along below me.
Group TP is expensive for moving your minions around and has short range and Group Fly causes them to lag behind you and fall out of the sky. For some reason, they fly slower than you and will leave the range of the power if you fly forward for more than 5 seconds at a time.
I really wish they'd fix Group Fly for MMs. I want my band of flying zombies!

That would quite literally be 'Death from Above.'
Thanks for the info- I guess fly is pretty much my best option then, if I want to keep an eye on them.
I'm assumeing that they respawn exactly as they were before, though, right? Or will I have to re-buff them and everything when they pop up again?
*completely clueless*
Group Fly isn't so bad if you follow them instead of them following you. However it can be tricky to negotiate a decent direction. It would be nice to click a general direction and for pets to proceed in it until you say otherwise.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

Group fly > follow minion > use 'goto' on said minion > keep clicking.
Anyway, the best way to travel with minions is to force a teammate to recall-friend you everywhere; over long enough distance and the minions will get teleported with you. Far faster and more efficiant than anything, it just... lags a little...
That trick is sooo much fun in battle... Setup all pets while team mates attack.. then let them tp friend you inbetween the melee.. instantly place all zombs in bodyguerd in mid battle.

That actually sounds like a pretty awsome trick.
Now all I have to do is collar myself a team mate with recall friend.... ^_-
Hmm. Sounds like my group flying PVP mastermind will be more trouble than I expected :S

So, my much underused Matermind is finally getting to the level where I need to think about giving him a travel power (I really do spend most of my time blue-side.)
What I'm wondering is how do travel powers affect minions? Is there a certain power that is better/worse to use when I have them out, or does it make no real diffrence? I did a search on here, and came up with nothing, so I figured it would be best to ask.
