taunted/pulled 3 +6 mobs for a team.and was the only one to walk away alive.

Seeing as they were +6 thats forgive-able. I have had team wipes on me. Its not nice. Its never happened when I said ready though
I do love your enthusiasm and your positivity with the set. It makes me feel sure you know what your doing. I feel its a great set. I have played all ATs at 36 although not for teams as it was on test but was left feeling as though it will do for tanking with an interesting edge. I made one live but like my scrapper haven't played them enough yet to even earn a cape.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
It seems to me will power aura is bugged and not doing a respectable job in aggro management. At least fromm my experience. There is a thread on it.
The OP's testiment to the failure of Willpower just adds to the anacdotal evidence
Indeed. I only played WP brutes so far (most of them on Test, but my live EM/WP is 50 since just before christmas ) and the aggro management seems... odd. Sometimes I have duoed with a corruptor only to find an enemy (not attacked by me or the corruptor but standing inside my aura) staring at me for a short time, then turning around to attack the corruptor and turning back to me right after the attack. Very strange behaviour that.
But other than that WP is fine if you take the complete set. I surely never felt that invincible with any of my other toons and have been able to pull off some truly interesting stunts.
Yesterday a broadsword scrapper attacked me in Warburg and couldn't overcome my regeneration despite of dropping a chem rocket right onto my head while I was pounding him into submission through his Unstoppable. When he complimented me on my remarkable toughness I was far too embarrassed to tell him that I hadn't even used Strength of Will and didn't have access to the Fighting pool at Warburg level.

If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
I fully agree. My WP tank is still only 16 but even at that level if feel alot more safer and can handle a lot more agro/damage than what other tanks I team with seems to be able to do. Of course, it probably helps that my end almost never dips under half even while spamming Bonecrusher thanks to QR.
Just don't make my noob mistake with the power and forgo the auto defences for toggels in the beginning. That might be the way to go on other thanks esp. Inv but HPT actully contains a huge chunck of you defences. After I respeced my it into my tank she stopped getting hurt.
I also agree that carrying a greenie or having a defnder tucked under one arm is a smart move. What hurts most is the alphas before WPs regen kicks in. Poping a heal right after whille make sure the foes won't wear you down until you start getting your health back.
Have a feeling that the devs not giving WP a self heal is intentional since it would have made it too good.
Any good suggestion on how to slott RttC?

Where is the thread on that? I couldn't find it myself.
In reply to your notes, ive never taken any other protection powers from 'other'pools,so ive just been using the stuff from willpower pool to keep me alive.ive slotted my rttc with 3 heals,2 debuffs,1 end redux. At 36,im running a total of 5 toggles. As for the taunt aura, yeah, its a little funny, but with the taunt you get from mace, plus the taunt power, ive not had much trouble. And sitriel, ive had that kinda thing happen in pvp too.My nrg brute m8 had owned me a few times,THEN i put on my toggle for nrg protection. He never killed me after that.

You'd be lucky in having any 'constant' taunt control on +6s otherwise buggy auras don't necessarily mean a fail in aggro control. You have both taunt and gauntlet to fall back on.
I wouldn't call brute gauntlet much to fall back on as its not aoe.

ok.as a lot of ppl seem to need help with willpower,ie;its usefulness, etc,i thought i would put down some things ive noticed with willpower.
GET ALL THE WILLPOWER POWERS!
this may seem obvious, but really.they work together to keep you alive.
most of the powers can slot heals,as well as defensive enh.this is really good, especially with fast healing too.
rise to the challenge,is THE power of the set.it heals you, taunts, and debuffs the enemies around you.just be warned,u need to run into the mobs and get at most 10 npc's next to you,to get it working at max.
you get powers that wil give heals, def, dam res,and mez protectoin.what you dont get is and instant-heal power like regens do.so carry a few green insps for safty.
i took the fitness pool, and, yes,it helped immensly.even with your heals and end recovery powers from willpower.it also means you dont need to slot any end redux in your attacks.
the last power of the set is a doozie.now, some ppl dont like the 'godmode' power at tier 9.but this one has to be up there with the coolest.you get a great boost to your healing, and when it runs out,you lose half your end.THATS IT!not like invun, where all your end and health goes.this means you just carry on regardless.
the only power i skipped, was the self rez.if your a good wp tank, you wont need it.lol.
some of the things my 36 tank has done so far:
taunted/pulled 3 +6 mobs for a team.and was the only one to walk away alive.
has stood toe to toe with the winterlord, solo, for 5 mins.
i also walked up to a dead teammate,in the middle of a mob of +8's,handed him a wakie, while being attacked, and walked away.
handed snaptooth his [censored],+3,solo.
and im only 36.so much left to do!
now,where is that alabastor?lol.
all in all, willpower is looking, and playing, ace.if anyone wants a fun toon to try,TRY A WILLPOWER TANK TODAY!
ty.
