Mwahahahaha, /SR, now you're talking. Tbh my DM/SR has improved loads now that I have his defenses almost on or past the defense soft cap and endurance issues are non-existant.

I think SR and DA scrappers are the most favoured by Inventions, followed by /Inv scrapper who now can get 20 - 30% psi resistance. Downside is that, as you said, you need billions. I am 9 enhancements away from the final build for my lvl50 DM/SR, and unless I get lucky on drops, these 7 enhancements will cost around 200 - 250 mill at current prices (1 Miracle unique - 3 LotG +rchg and a few LotG bits and pieces)
What? Regens aren't scrappers now? Regen's are also horribly favoured by IO sets being able to have perma-DP, amazing regen, loads of HP etc.
And my regen is finished, build only cost 100 mil inf.

I didn't say regens are not favoured, I said that imo, the other sets are more favoured, for example Inv scrappers can also have perma DP now.

Well, when LotG sold for 2 mill, my build would had been much cheaper. In fact I could have chosen other sets different than the ones I have and get a cheaper build, it all depends on the sets you want to settle with and the AH price.
after leaving my level 39 scrapper on the sidelines since just before issue 8 i thought i'ld give him a shout out and see how much better he is with inventions.
At the end of my first mission back it was a case of - dont you ever . . . . EVER doubt SR again!!! - before issue 8 i either had defence or endurance issues but now after slotting just roughly under half my build so far im getting none of that and hes hardly getting hit
Made me think though because i havent seen THAT many SR scrappers around lately but inventions make them truely god-like, even in sirens against MMs i wasnt getting hit that much.
I love me MA/SR scrapper!!!!! now who wants to lend me a billion influence JUST for the defense sets
