Nothing wrong with PLing itself. Good way to skip the boring chunks of the game. Wouldn't mind PLing my villain from 30-35 to get him ready for i10 for example (hmmm).
Its when inexperienced players do it that trouble beckons IMO.
How does one PL in todays game anyway? Bridging with (for example) a 50, a 25 and a level 1?
[/ QUOTE ]
Wouldn't work, you have to be within 5 levels of the highest member. So ideally you'd have a level 46 as the bridge.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm slightly confused now, so would you have a 50, a 46 and a SKed lowbie and just do level 50+ missions?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup. Although you'd want more people in the team to fill out the map. But not too many, or you'll get lots of bosses and that'll slow down the levelling.
I'm assuming you'd want 6

I once teamed with a Khelidan that kept dying (not the best strategist) and would ignore people offering wakeys to go straight to the hospital. When challenged, he confessed with a "lolz" he didn't know what wakeys were. He didn't know what Inspirations were either. I asked him if the account belonged to him or if he was playing on a friend's char, and amazingly it was his own. Draw your own conclusions.

x number of runs = depends on rare
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd say, what, 10 runs for a LotG +Recharge?
[/ QUOTE ]
If that's a rare, then a level 3 in Atlas Park last week got really lucky
[/ QUOTE ]
He got amazingly lucky when you consider that the LoTG set is only available from Lv25 up
[/ QUOTE ]
This was a level 50 one someone seem to have slipped him just as he was logging out
[/ QUOTE ]
This level 50 wouldn't happen to be you would it?

Uh, maybe

Actually I think mission finish rewards are received regardless of level difference. Thats one part of the old stalker PLing, where one lvl 40ish stalker was PLing for example seven lvl 5s and none of them were sidekicked. Havent tried it in a while so dunno if its still ingame.

I think you still get the mission bonus, but the best you can get is +3 levels. And then you miss out on all that juicy mob XP.
I think Mission Bonuses are always given, based on receiving rewards for old, old arcs.
So given the massive XP bonuses that a 50 makes it might be better starting off to just leave people unexemped, do a quick mission (like Radio Missions in PI) and just get em the huge end-mish XP bonus.
I suppose you could offer to SK one to a 46 too so they get XP and let the others sit by the door and wait for you to finish.
