Pvp brute
make a tanker fury is [censored] in pvp.
I have an ice/em tank which (eventually when i have the influence to IO em) will be respecced for pvp.
Are brutes really that crappy in pvp? If so I'll make a MM, which leaves me with the question which of the sets for MM do nicely in pvp
em/fire, 2 bu counteracts furys bugginess, dont let how it is now affect your decision, one day they may actually fix it.

Fury is bugged in PvP? Since when?
Anyway, EM/Elec mean's you won't run out of Endurance, due to Conserve Power and Power Sink, your powers have the handy little 20% recharge reduction due to Lightning Reflexes. Oh yes, and when ganked by 3 scrappers in Warburg, Power Surge looks a hell of a lot cooler than your dead body on the ground.
Oh yes, and Elec is amazing.
What? I like elec.
It's always been bugged.
Now it's less bugged than it was, but still not as it should be.

Since they introduced city of villains.
Have to say I havn't noticed. Except when Power Sink gave you 70% Fury, now that was a nice bug...

yea but if fury is bugged than a fire/em tank still trumps a em/fire brute altho i'd love to use a em/fire brute in sirens, whipe the smile off the blappers
EM/Fire brutes all the way for any PvP above lvl 38, for Sirens pvp or lower level then cant go wrong with ss/em/stone primarys coupled with fire/elec/invuln really.

the tank has the advantage but not in terms of damage really, v squishies they are going down regardless of brute or tank and v other melee toons the brute only gets more powerful. Anyway back to the advantage, its the improved mez protection that the tanks have that mean the chance of being stunned by one of the many EM toons out there is far less than the brute has.
Fury has its uses, nothing like pounding away on hibernate when an ice tank thinks they are being clever and 2 shotting them when they come out something no tanks going to be able to do
and for sirens pvp its stone/fire all the way, mag 4 hold and superfast animation in seizmic and the best brute burst chain untill EM gets ET. No floating in the air for 3.3 seconds for stone

wow didnt no that, thats awesome
Hey there, a quick question about brutes and pvp. I'm planning on creating one in the nearby future.
Primairy - simple, energy meelee
secondairy - I closed it down to fire or electricity.
I don't have experience with either one of these armor sets. If anyone has experience with these sets in pvp, could you post the pro's - con's of these 2 sets compared to each other.
It seems to me fire does the best spike dmg (high dmg in short amount of time) because of the double buildup. And elec has a higher dmg over time output because of the build-in hasten.
If anyone could share some insight, that would be much apreciated.
Tnx, Tim.
