I've been prettying up the base using the base editor as well as just buying stuff, but there doesn't seem to be a way to "turn off" the trim. Oh well...

I usually use a wall detail, small rusted vent or something to get rid of them, just one between two gets rid of those two, without being very visible...
That is, if you don't have any other real decorations to put in place

If you have nothing useful to say, you have two choices: Say something useless or stay quiet.
I raised the floor and dropped the ceiling in each doorway by one position so that the rooms have a continuious trim around them, if only they used smaller increments for the ceiling it would look perfect!!!

B.A.F. Trial Guide
Hello all,
After several million years of hard work, my wee SG have finally gotten to a stage where we have some functional stuff. So, in honour of this, I've been trying to make the base look all pretty, only to find that the stupid bloomin' floor and ceiling trim make everything look rubbish - they don't carry over into doorways and they disappear if items are placed too near them (which is hugely annoying if you want to place some of the nice decorative wall things). Is there any way to get rid of floor and ceiling trim in rooms where it's spoiling the view?
Thanks in advance,
