Like I said last night, the Global server had a brain fart a month or so ago, a good few global channel vanished into the void, and lots of people had the same issue. Unfortunately, the official reponse is along the lines of 'Oops, you'll have to rebuild your channels and global friends lists' <sigh>
I'll kick Lifeline tonight assuming he's back on (and he probably will be) and remind him to do this for you and Cap on both his accounts, since the idle swine relies on me reading the boards and passing any interesting bits on...
Anyway, 'twas nice to kick some heads last night, and I'll see you around as and when you get the time. next time, I think we need to dig out some 50's and try some more advanced head kicking... Li, Corten, Cap, Jet, and whatever other scrappers we can dig up should be... interesting

Just to mention, we lost our channel again yesterday, and at least one mate logged in to see her global changed automatically and with a blank global list. The problem might be only as fresh as 24 hours, although I would be inclided to blame the month ago crash too.

Yeah, there was another Global server Brain fart yesterday.
*I* didn't lose the DW channel, but pretty much everybody else did... So I spent a lot of last night reinviting people to it, and I'll need to reinvite Jet and Cap to the channel AGAIN <sigh>
I just keep telling myself "Global chat is a massive QoL boon, put up with occasional glitches for being able to spout drivel over a comms channel that doesn't care if the account owner is playing hero or villain, or hidden or whatever." Global chat does a MASSIVE amount for community cohesion, IMO, but occasional glitches are all the more irritating for that exact reason.
