I had this in War Berg where a scrapper was trying to steal my scientist.
Now not being set up for PVP and as a controller I didn't fancy my chances against a Regen [censored] with a rep of over 300!!
I was only 200 yards from the door where the scientist needed to be so popped a load of purples to boost my defense and merrily continued to the door.
I got the following tell "O.o insp u n00b"

I have a badge says I once had a rep of 400. I'd imagine they've fixed that bug by now.

In all seriousness, though, somebody did actually say that on broadcast the other night in SC. Then they followed it up with "But I bet the devs will change that before i9 gets released like they always do".
Yeah. I'm sure they will.
I've got it, to make everything totally fair, in I9 all use of powers in PvP zones will be banned. Instead, you'll take damage from losing RPS matches.

Heh got the old "damn insp popper", "you used like 12 bf's back then" from a dominator on broadcast a few weeks ago seeing as how i was a controller with zero mez protection i think i was rightly justified, that and i only used 5 bf's 
Thankfully someone else put him in his place by saying "whats he ment to do let you chain hold him and not do anything" good to see other folks sticking up for people on this topic
As for the anything goes rule for pvp im alright with that if your being outnumbered feel free to pop those insperations, if your out of insperations then run like hell back to base.
The only thing i myself cant stand in pvp zones is droneing...
I don't actively PvP but if I do have a duel, I'll use insps unless my opponent says he doesn't want to, I don't mind agreeing to that if I know he'll stick to it. If I get attacked at random (well, I say at random but what I really mean is by a bored stalker with nothing better to do) then I'll do whatever I can to flatten them! (use an insp to survive, run away and get a few team mates, usually!).
