TA/Arch PvP?
Dunno about archery for blasting, but trick Arrow rocks.
My MA IDs:
Fiend Space: 211464
I use my blaster like a stalker, sneak up on the target and aim+snipe+blazing arrows, finish off with other attacks if needed.
Dunno if it works with defenders tho

Do you mean that I'd need the Concealment Pool to overcome the bow redraw, or are you just talking about using the natural cover in the PvP area?

I was actually gonna make a TA/Arrow defender i consider that possible very dangerous. But it all depends on how you build it and play it.

This is a build i built having only played one to lvl 5.
Plus the slotting and maybe some powers need prioritizing more for Sirens Call or Warburg if you so wished.
My TA/Arch is currently Lvl 32, and as much as I love him he was built for PvE and team play. He's got no travel powers, but has Fitness and Leadership pools.
Having had some fun recently in Arena PvP, I'm just curious as to whether he would suck royally at more aggressive PvP.
My fear is that the long animation/activation of the TA/Arch powers would make him more of a liability, but could the Concealment pool counter that? Is a travel power a "requirement" for PvP, or can they be ignored providing you have enough defence?
So many questions!!

Travel power is a must for PvP.
as for the cast time of the powers... Hover/Fly can normally keep you out of the way of harm unless -fly.
Stealth and Invis are ok if your opponents dont have +Perceptions.
Like i say its all to do with how you Build/Play your toon to how good he will be..

The natural covers.
I would probably take fly to be able to sneak up better, but I have SJ on my blaster for Acro...
I got a TA/Archery Defender to 50 and do some PvP in Siren's and Warburg. You don't really have enough time to shoot more than one arrow before you get jumped on so i can't recommend it for the Arena. Slot for range if you use fly and hope they don't have -fly. I used Teleport and hover for a while as it was easy to find a good location to shoot from and then teleport away when they went for me. Glue, entangling and oil slick are great at stopping enemies running away, it was mainly this reason i switched to fly as it was easier to chase people (slot for speed). Poison Gas arrow is great at dropping toggles - its auto hit with 50% chance of sleep, but it seems to work every time on those MM in PFF.
It is fun but you really need to know which arrow to fire at any given moment.
Just a quickie,
I've never done PvP on any kind of scale, and was wondering whether a TA/Arch Defender can EVER be a valued in PvP?
I'm always being told that it sucks as a build for PvE anyway, and I can't imagine that the opinion on PvP will be any more favourable!
