Very sorry i couldnt make it guys/gals tonight
But from the sounds of it like i told Lost you guys will wrap it up no problems.
Well done UNION as always the Great jelly took a Welly
see you next week on time as always
very quiet this week isn't it?
maybe hamis sabotaging the thread
Even the guard thread is quiet, although the issue 9 stuff on test has taken a lot of focus off current activities.
Speaking of which - I'm thinking when the new Hami goes live that we take a group of volounteers into the hive, spend a night working out how the big jelly's changed and what we can do about it.

Soon as the new Hami is out, I'll be going on both CoV and CoH to take a look and get notes.
Count me in as guinea pig for the new hami
ditto, i wanna know exactly what we'll be up against, also want to try killing sum of the GMs in the zone when hes changed, because it is quoted by doc brainstorm i think that the hive and abbys now contain great reasons fro beating GMs, might have sumin to do with a new Hami weakness
I think its for the salvage :P
I'm definately game for a little reconnisance when I9 comes out

i don't think so, i found that quote i was referencing.
from brainstorm himself

* Giant Monsters don't drop recipes so they are not farmed for recipes, causing camping issues we are actively trying to avoid. As for reasons to fight Giant Monsters... well the Hive and the Abyss now contain very good reasons to defeat these guys.

since hami is gonna be in those locations my guess is they provide some way of beating him/beating him more easily, possibly each one defeated may weaken him or they drop special insps like the ambrosia ones which will have their own uses, persnally i hope they drop temp powers
of course it does just say recipes so perhaps they do drop their own salvage that is used with a recipe hami drops.
i like my first idea more though
honestly dont know, but there is a rather amusing way to find out

Consider me volunteered too
Well after me and Pam just seeing the new Hami Encounter for Villians, and seeing the look of Hamidon for i9, I think I'm gonna be busy for both CoH and CoV..
From initial view.. it looks like existing tactics we use for Hamidon might need throwing out the window and new ones thought up.. because he don't look like he's gonna "stand" there (not like he goes anywhere, anyway).. and let us kick his butt, so easy this time.
Roll on i9 on Test.. and bring ya note books! Hami-School is in session!
Agreed
once its on test were gnna have to get together as many people as possible to give this a go
I was going to suggest a joint union-defiant Hami raid, with the best raiders from both servers. See if we can beat him faster than the US.
I'd like to join the next hami raid, the last one I was part of ( sometime last autumn ) I was using Golden Golem as the Hamidon tank and throughly enjoyed keeping the big guy annoyed whilst watching the masses wipe out the mitos.
I can bring either Golden Golem ( Inv/Fire/Pyre tanker) or Unthing ( Spines/Regen/Body scrapper ).
@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.
