Gladiator Matches specifically are when you can choose for certain "pets" too fight for you. You can earn these "pets" by getting certain badges. (For instance, badge for killing 100 Freak Bosses earns you the opportunity to use him) You get 2000 points (I think) and each "pet" you choose costs a different amount of points, the better ones being more then others. You can then enter the Arena against a friend and order your "pets" what to do. You cannot influence what happens yourself with your own powers.
But bear in mind that if you play vs someone with the archmage... they will have MI's!!! (and they pwn)
To choose your own set of gladiators for the match, click an arena terminal and 'own gladiators' button.
Then you can arrange a gladiator match (its a certain type of arena match).
I have been playing the game for well over a year and a half, and it wasnt until last week whilst surfing the US site that it occurred to me that the Gladiator badges had a use other than being shiny. I had a look in the Arena ..w t f ???
Does anyone have the time to:
A/ Tell me how it all works
B/ Or better still show me how it works. (Toons on Defiant)
I know some people get their knickers in a twist at the mere mention of PvP or Arena stuff, but I would like to experience all of the game, in all of its glory.
