The only days I'm not free are Monday and Thursday evenings. Other than that, so long as I have at least a day's notice, I'm fine. ( Just to avoid double-booking with anything)
Much agreement with FFM on this score. I'm a huge fan of spontaneous RP - it simply works better for me - so the idea of playing it in-game and the logs being posted here sounds like a riot.

Possibly. Unless there's an SG base going spare that nobody's really using, we could then use it as a properly designed set. (Though I'm unsure if the base-kicking bug is still around)

Though that has its own downsides.
The Tiki Lounge does have the benfit of having a stage, but from what I can remember, no chairs on said stage. It does seem like a good choice though, as truth be told, it's not really used that much from what I've seen, apart from as a shortcut by using the teleporter.
Erm.. About having it ingame, why can't we do this on the test server? Everyone would be able to enter a SG, there would be loads of prestige to make a good stage from the base, it would help with people who want to join but can't due to no slots on Union and it would also give people a chance to use chars on Defiant aswell.

I think thats actually a good idea. The only downside being the seclusiveness.
I personally think that the best idea so far is the test server idea.
if we holdit in pocke D, there is always the possibility of non rp characters going past and asking "wot r u doin?"
if the wentworths were open at the moment, i would think we would be able to put our show there. have the audience on the elevated area and the host and guest by the window. maybe, on a special occasion, we can have a couple of camera men (one for the main thing and one for the audience. I'd love to see those reactions) to record the action, make a title and credits and put the finished project on you tube or something.
unfortunatley, apart from the fact that there are no seats and it looks awfully cramped, the only downfall is that we would have to wait for I9 to come around.
so, apart from that, I'm fresh out of ideas

Sounds good Beet. Though I'm still hoping that by some stroke of luck we can find an in-door enclosure like the Atlas Town Hall offices, Longbow Offices, Enhancement Stores that would look suitable. Possibly one in Galaxy City or another low-level area, and have few Non-RPers visiting it.

Awesome base design there Beet. Trying to decide on a location for the talkshow, either a supergroup base on Test server, Live server or the Tiki Lounge.
- Pro's of the Test server base: Villains and Heroes from all servers can join in and the overall studio design is up to us.
- Con's of the Test server base: It's a little secluded from the main game but its only a few clicks of a button away if you have access already sorted.
- Pro's of the CoH/Union server base: Overall studio design is up to us and easy access to Coalitions and Leader's team-mates.
- Con's of the CoH/Union server base: Risk of being auto-kicked from base (studio) and the necesity of Coalitions.
- Pro's of the Tiki Lounge: Quite a nice setting and location (within Pocket D). Easy access by Gold Membership Card.
- Con's of the Tiki Lounge: Access is limited to those with Gold Membership Cards and there are those ever-so-interuptive Non-RP'ers coming in and out.
So come on, lets vote and decide something. The sooner this idea is up and running, the better for many reasons. I for one think the CoH/Union server SG base sounds workable.
I vote for the test server. the only thing in my way is the ever so long down load time, as I havent been on for a while

Yes! Servers would be best. That is what I vote for. And it would be fun to have Crozius come on as a gues 8D
I have an idea if we choose the live server - a supergroup simply called 'The Talkshow' with essentially two members, 'Sponsor' (myself) and 'Architect' (Beet). To access the base/studio, the SG offers a coalition to 10 participating RPSG's. Other participants can be kept an SG leader's team, to access the base/studio.

Sounds fair enough. Are we starting tonight, or next Friday? It's just that we don't have the first guest lined up yet, so writing enough questions by tonight could be difficult.
To give Beet and I time to set us the base, finalise on live or test server and give you time to set up questions and a guest lists... outside DXP, I'd say next friday.
The suggestions for topics could get quite funny:
1) "I may be part alien, but I'm still human!"
2) "My husband has become a Lesser Devoured but I still love him."
3) "My girlfriend wants me to dress up like Statesman all the time."
4) "My husband ran off with my sister, and she's a mutant!"
But I'm hoping it won't descend into that sort of territory.

Personally, I think a talk show is better done "live" as it were... You'll get FAR better responses if people don't have time to think about it!
