I'm going to make one that I had planned anyway. With only four powers available to people it shouldn't matter "too much" what you create. And it's a bit of fun anyhow.

I'm playing a gimpoid toon for it. I did look for something that could win and all the tankmagey builds made go "pfft! screw it".

I was going to level a new corruptor to 5 last night but I had such a bad headache I had to abandon that idea.
Echo, what's the highest level toon you will allow to enter and exemp down? My lowest level character is a lvl 6 TA defender and I would like to avoid having to use him if I can.

Shouldnt take long to hit lvl 5.

I know, just over an hours play for me. However, I don't get home from work until 7pm so I wont have time to quickly get to 5.
Anything up to level 9 I have absolutely no problem with. At level 10 the inspiration tray expands again, which makes things harder to keep fair. Does that help you at all?

I may be a few minutes late if i get roped into going to the supermarket, but I'l certainly be there about 7.15 - 7.30.
Maybe if this is fun we can do it again a week later but at lvl 10, then again at lvl 15....

The low level made it more of a fun atmosphere rather than a "must win at at all costs" one. And my trapper wasnt totally gimped like I thought he might.

Yeah, we got some real nice and exciting fights. Especially the 10 domination one, or at least it felt like it until we found out that the brute had 5 lives remaining. I was out of insps and down to my last 'life' at that point thanks to you gankers hehe. I really did everything I could in the end and managed to get one kill but he had too many 'lives' ^^.
The fights had a lot of opportunity for strategy, tactics, managing your insps and other skillful stuff Despite being at lvl 5 hehe. Well down there you really need to utilize the arena map to full effect too.
Lowbie fight also showed couple interesting concepts to use. Such as my SR scrapper who seemed nice when at lvl 5 pvp accuracy is so horrible . Blaster or corruptor seemed very good too, and brute/tank for domination matches.

Dont remember if I had more alts there.. Had to go watch Heroes episode 1 in the end

Thanks for last night everyone, I really enjoyed myself. I'm quite an arena newbie, I think that was only the third time I've ever used the arena. I agree with what everyone has said about fighting at that low level, it was a lot more strategic than I was expecting. I also thought that there wouldn't be many kills due to a lack of powers, but that simply wasn't the case.

I was that brute. That final fight when it was just you and me left was excellent, I had no idea how many lives you had left and you were really taking me apart with some skillful movement. The Brute I was playing didn't perform so well in the other game types though.
It was interesting to see, when that level 50 Stalker joined, that fighting at such a low level, that anybody can win (admittedly we did gang up and gank him at one point).

I'd love to join you all again as I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I can't commit to a regular time as I'm just about to enter my busy period at work (which will last until near the end of April), but I certainly come along if I can make it.
I'd prefer if everyone brought a (roughly) lvl 5 toon so that inspirations are limited to more or less the right number. Personally, I have a level 6 toon I was plannning on bringing along to this one, so I won't be too strict with the level limit

I figure we can try a few match types. The evening will start with a free-for-all battle royal definitely, but a team or duo battle royal sounds fun too.
