Not meaning to throw a dampener on your search Sadge, but you might be treading dangerous water here due to Marvel infringement as they had/have characters based on the signs of the zodiac. I only know this cos I got the Marvel Encylcopedia for Xmas. Here is a link to Wiki's entry :

The link you provided says that these zodiac based characters were villains tho, not heroes. I have a feeling that it's out and out copying that's the major problem.... otherwise we'd all be stuffed. There is very little left out there that hasn't already been used in some work of fiction somewhere.
For instance, many would suggest that I lifted the name of my scrapper Ebon Hawk from the KOTOR line of games (I didn't, but that's another story). I've even had one suggestion in game that my use of the name was copyright infringement. I'd argue he'd need to be a spaceship to cross that line 
I know this is a finer distinction, but I'd tend not to worry if I was Sagittarius.

tbh I sincerely doubt marvel can copyright zodiac signs 
unless of course you make heroes/villains that look the same as the ones marvel made.

I understood what you was getting at but im sure that people can have the word ZODIAC in their SG name without getting grief from people saying its against copyright.

Another example of this would be one of my old alts's "Serbitar". Which is a fictious character from a David Gemmill Novel. Had no problems with that name, but I ended up deleting him as was a grav troller, and wasn't enjoying the set...incidentally he had white hair also.

I think as you don't directly duplicate the Marvel Sagittarius, there'll be no problem. Becasue Sagittarius isn't a TM of the Marvel or any other comic publisher. It's a name of a Zodiac Sign. I suggest you to do a little search on that guy or gal. Actually i am kinda getting sick of Marvel. They try to own everything just the sake of money. They once sued CoH, i think the real reason is they didn't think to make a game like that before. Now they are making their own little online game, maybe CoH think to sue them if the character creation system or something like that is very similiar to their own.
Any way, if you are the Sagittarius i teamed up the other day, you are wellcome to my SG. Because i think you are fitting in our consept. Find me in game or any other Galaxy Watcher.

To be fair, I could in theory have a character called Wolverine, make 7ft tall, hairy all over with pink speedo's and be fine, surely Marvel can't TM wildlife?!?!.... can they?

Im looking to join an SG that is in someway related to Zodiac signs etc for my hero Sagittarius, I had a quick look via the registrar yesterday but couldn't see anything but because something cant be seen, it doesn't mean something cannot exist
So anyone know of 1 that Sagittarius would fit into?
