You need another attack before 20.

I'd take lunge, and barb swipe and/or spine burst - they are pretty rubbish, but its better than just lunge + AS for 20 levels, which wouldn't be very good.

MoG reccommended, resilience probably not needed so early on, if you plan to pvp, Stealth is a must in WB and v. good for Sirens.

Things u should scrap are tp it is complelty uselless for the AT.
Stamina is a must but i fear that u might be leaving it a bit late to get workin it into getting it at 20/22 is best.
Mog is a must unless up planning on fighting psi emenys.
Stealth is a def must pre 30 for any serious pvp.

I recommend swapping resilience with stealth, so you will have stealth available in sirens call. Also Id maybe take hasten and superspeed instead of teleport pool but thats a personal choice

Id say that the 2 teleport moves are useless at 44 and 47 - you could take the leadership pool and get Assault (higher AS damage), Maneuvers (better DEF) and/or Tactics (Acc + perception). One of those moves also does res. to taunt and placate too. I'd say leave out the fitness pool to start with, just focus on attacking power and regen moves, then respec (i chose to respec at 26 when i ran my spines/regen) to get the fitness powers back in and to ditch the weedier powers. I'd reccommend doing this at 26 because you get 4 attacks, without having to resort to barb swipe or spine burst (which are [censored]) - Lunge, AS, imaple, ripper.

Also, fly may not be the best move for pvp - although it does have its benefits (getting hovering-blasters/defenders etc. ) but its a bi slow.

have fun :P

I have to disagree with the previous posters on TP.
I find it very very effective in PVP, TP foe especialy but it does depend on your play style.
Leadership would be a big mistake for the OP as hes stated hes PVP'ing after 40.
Assault is like a 10% dmg buff and not really worth it for the end cost.Maneuvers is a 4% def buff with a high end cost on a set thats got no def anyway so i don't see the point of that either.Tactics would be the only useful one of the set but thats just for the tohit buff which gets covered by BU anyway.
Nah i think that would be a bad idea myself.

Personal i'd drop fly for cj/sj and drop the TP pool and keep stealth but take invis also and take the fighting pool for tough.Combined with resiliance you'll get 20% res to S/L which will improve survivability greatly.
If you want to go that way ofcourse .. theres plenty other options.

As you say, Assault adds a 10% dmg buff - so on an AS attack that is roughly another 75-100 gmp points - which is roughly what a lunge attack does - so with Assault activated (and you can deactivate it straight after if you want to conserve end - as i do) you effectively get your AS damage plus a lunge - which cant be bad. Also, tactics is useful both for the Acc bonus, which can make your AS + BU + Tactics have a higher chance of hitting through Personal force field/elude/whatever and more importantly for seeing those enemies with only stealth or only hide activated.

I do agree with Chelsea that theyre pretty useless to get at 47/49 (and also that Maneuvers is), on my stalker i managed to fit them in before 30 (at the expense of ripper and integration, although Sands of MU covers for ripper and even scrappers only take AS + impale + maybe one more to die in SC, so no real problem)

Also, Jump kick i prefer to CJ due to knockback apsect - a slot or three of Acc and KB could help in pvp

If, as you say you arent going to pvp until 40 then you should be able to find space for them. I wouldnt take Resilience and instant healing before 38, unless you plan on long drawn out duels.

Any feedback on my ramblings much appeciated

Hmm i dunno about jumpkick.
I'm an avid hater of most of the pool power attacks as theres no real good ones except air sup.
There all very low dmg so in that case you might aswell take a primary attack.
But then secondry effects can be nice but in jumpkicks case most of its an illusion like the KU and the KB dosn't really help as you don't want to be wasting precious time chasing your foe as it is .
I'll stick to CJ as i love the mobility with hurdle on my stalkers

But thats the good part about forums, seeing what other peoples builds are.

Oh yeah just a quick note but RE assault and tactics IMO a red and yellow insp do more than those 2 powers without the end drain

Yeah thats true, but:

1. You actually need the insps in your tray, which means exiting zone to refill every 20 mins

2. In many duels there is a no-insp rule

Also, i dont think a yellow does as much perceptioningness as tactics, but i may be wrong.

That's only in the zones, and vs new players

Never heard this one before..

Really??

In Warburg (on Onion at least) when duelling i often either get "no insps, ok?" or a torrent of abuse if i do use them.

Anyway, its better to have space for purples and BFs in your tray thean endless reds and yellows

For a stalker, yes other ATs get better benefit from yellows and reds tho

If someone says "no insps" to me, label = noob.

(verbal abuse they use should give a hint. Proper pvpers don't need it. )

Always keep in mind that the game is balanced with use of inspirations in mind, not without them. And duels belong to arena. Also the game is not supposed to be balanced for duels but teamplay. No-insp fights are so unbalanced they make no sense to me.

I once fought a corruptor with my blaster in warburg because I wanted to pull him off the no-insp sillyness. We werent using insps and I beat him for 1 hour straight or so. 30-0 to me or something. Bloody stupid if you ask me. In the end I declared him a masochist in my mind and left.

Meh i can see your point, i just find it a pain in the as having to restock every 20 minutes, especially when theres a move i can get that does it for me :P

Posted

I've not heard of the no insp rule either .. seems rather silly to me tho.
And then you get ppl in zones saying stuff like 'stop using insp ya noob' etc .. erm why ? thats what there for lol .
But yeah i'd use insp to get the same effect as tactics etc and pick something else more useful from my primary or secondry.
But like i say different strokes for different folks.

Any other spines regen stalkers out there on Union who want an arena or warburg fight???

I'd like to see how i compare :P

Just as a matter of intrest -

Insp Per figures
Insight: +125 (Two or more inspirations do stack.)
Keen Insight: +166
Uncanny Insight: +250

Tactics for a stalker is +234 per

Well let me point out that if you have buffers on your side then you can easily go without insps in zone pvp. Insps are there to plug the holes in your defense when you don't have a good team or are solo. That's their balancing nature. If you feel like you have to go restock every few minutes then you need to call for help on arena chat or something

I'm so good i don't need insps anyway :P

I dare anyone who challenges me on that to a test server duel :P

Sure thing, im interested. I havent fought that many stalkers in the arena. I just don't know how often Ill be online in near future. Try catching me on 'defiant pvpers' global channel or send a tell to @hammerfall, and we'll hit test server together. I should be online tomorrow evening sometime after 4pm (London time).
