Kinetic / Electric
Any Defender Nuke when combined with Fulcrum shift will be good, you have transferrance to put your endurance straight back up afterwards, you're not running an abundance of toggles to worry about them going down for a second, if any Defender Primary works with a nuke, Kinetics does. As long as you have one CaB you can put yourself straight on Endurance and carry right on with Defendering. In addition to which, the nuke does endurance drain (I don't have exact numbers on the Defender version, but enough to be worth mentioning, I'm sure someone will have the exact figures), so if you have bosses in the group (which will definitely survive the nuke), you could top up the drain afterwards with Transferrance/Short Circuit.
I personally have never rated Sparky, there's two schools of thought on that one, but given the abundance of powers that mesh better with your primary, I would probably skip it.

The current TR patch notes say 50% now and 55% if/when the patch is released.
Defender sparky apparently does the same damage as the Blaster sparky. Can't buff it with SP/FS though.
My kin/elec is only 22, but here is my planned build. I'm still a bit undecided about VS and the nuke, but might try them and respec out if I'm not happy with them. Any comments/suggestions are more than welcome!

Probably the smartest course, just remember to have them at least 4-slotted before you make your final decision. It will be hard to see their true potential with only 1 slot.
And if you're going to skip on any enhancements with TB then make it Damage instead of Recharge, you can get lots of +Dam from your Primary/APP powers.
Short Circuit is fairly accurate on its own, and Tactics helps some more. You may find that you don't need the Acc in it or you may find that it helps. It is also nearly as damaging as Ball Lightning, with equal slotting of course, so some Damage enhancements could be an option.
Short Circuit is better deployed retaining that End' Mod' slotting, Recharge and Acc' listed.
There's scope in Kin'/Elec' to make an endurance sapping monster through Short Circuit, Transference, and later Power Sink, if so desired.
Short Circuits end drain far out shines its damage potential .
I used Sparky in my Sonic/Elec's PvE build.
It's certainly not blaster level damage any more (you can do more damage per shot with your tier 1 blast) but it does help over time.
I didn't take the nuke, but I had toggles to keep up!
I'm playing a Kinetic/Electric defender and I was wondering how well two powers mesh with these sets?
1) Voltaic Sentinel, not sure about this one, would anyone recommend taking it?
2) Thunderous Blast, I've read lots of defender guides that are either way about nukes, but not much on this particular nuke when combined with Fulcrum Shift, any advice?
