Correct, I was on that very team mighty <-----Nekros... Anyway it does annoy me that the general idea about this task force that an "uber" team is required, our team completed this on our first try with new tactics and I believe that with a couple more runs we will be able to clear the last mission in 5-10 mins.
However I do believe that currently it is a major advantage regardless of ATs that each person takes the time to grab nukes/shivs & someone also has vengeance. The last mission of this SF is the single most difficult task in the game, and it requires a little more preparation to put together.
Remember that the Arch-villain badge is up for grabs and you couldnt call yourself an Arch-villain now if you didnt have a detailed evil plan to take down Statesman and his gang....could you?

I'm afraid that's not true by any means, and the last mission is by no means impossible without the apparent mandatory ideal team.
Our team of an all Electric Brute, all Dark Brute, Dark/Nin' Stalker, MA/Nin Stalker, Zombie/Poison MM,and Dark/Kin, Sonic/Ice, and Rad/Rad Corruptors completed this ok.

I an advising people to get Nukes and Shivans UNLESS you are on the IDEAL team of a stone brute and 7 corrupters.
Now tell me you did it without these ingredients.

And no Silent' I am not saying we did not use these at all. I encourage doing it outside the deemed mandatory set ups that have been prescribed many times before. I certainly intend to walk away with that badge on my Dominator and Mastermind when they are the right level .
We've worked hard to break the pattern and play a plan that allowed our friends to join in and complete it with what we have available. Nekros' came up with a different strategy from that we'd tried before, and it ran very well even off the 1st try. How anyone approaches the task is up to them. Ours requires Shivans & Nukes. That's acceptable to me if it means we can break the need to be restricted to minimum numbers and specifics of the team and opens the event up to anyone that would like to play. As said, half the challenge and reward of this is hatching a fiendish plan and achieving it .
I'm pretty sure that any well balanced team used for any other PVE task would be able to do this task too, but yes, some extra elements are needed.
This was described as a dedicated, high end piece of villain content for dedicated players. I don't have a problem with it needing some extra effort and work from elsewhere in the game. I guess it's personal opinion at the end of the day. I'm sure someone in time will ace this with no Shiv's or Nukes anda surprising set up .

Exactly, I couldn't agree with you more. I want to do it with friends also, thats why you need to use the pvp temp powers.
Its easier to ask people to get them that tell them they cant take part.
Im glad you have worked on it a found a way to make it a success for you and your friends.

When you people reach agreement on when to do this, put the participant list here pretty please.
Tomorrow nights team is finalised.
It can only hold 8 people and me and another few people plan to run it again soon so all is not lost. Hopefully we can get another team up and running soon. Very soon, hopefully within the week ahead.

I'm sorry, I can't do this SF in middle of week due my job. 
If you peeps are doing it sometime durign weekend, I'll be there sure as hell.
I would also like to do it on the weekend. I dont have the time to do it during this week.
Shockingly, as a 7 man team (the Stone Brute's wife dragged him off kicking and screaming after the first mish) we almost finished it. 2 rad corrs, 1 kin corr, 1 plant dom, 1 SR stalker and 2 fire brutes. No one quit the SF, so we're trying again tonight. Rushing seems to be the best way by far; though shivans, nukes and vengeance are a necessity. We got Numina down, and 3 other heros down to very low health before teamwiping. Other missions were a total breeze.
The 2hr downtime from the borked patch did not help at all as this put us back from a 7.00pm start to a 9.15 start. Still got to the final mission in around 2 hours with a 7 man team and 5 people had never done it before.
I apparently got DCed overnight; checked this morning and Numina is back Looks like we're trying some pulling before rushing tonight!

Yep well done team. There was also no way we'd have done it without multiple trips to Warburg and Bloody Bay for nukes and Shivans.
Guts determination and a will to beat it. We where under par from the off (no fault of the person who had to leave things happen in real life that a game cannot rule the day) but thankfully we had a team that stuck it out through thick and thin.
It was by no means easy and we used the powers available to us but we done it.
7 people and by no means an uber min/max team, just in game friends that stuck it out till the end.

Aye, superb work everyone! This must have been the most unfortunate Strike Force I've ever been on, but also one of the most patient ones. I had great fun, even if it took over 3 days to complete
And now I will won't ever have to set a foot on another LRSF team again (atlest for the next couple of days

lol sigh i MUST BE NUTS!!!!!!!!! finished this SF again with CP and a lot of the members of the OOCTS (folks big thanks for that (2nd one in a week lol) think i'm gonna be talking with Corrupt Power and arrangign another sometime later this month some. i def want more experiance with this SF specialy before issue 8 and the downgrade of the AVs and my dm/fire brutes coming along quite nicely with lvl 53 SOs (might have some lvl 53 mutation ones spare on defiant soon
and anyone saying you need xyz ATs to do this is WRONG, ANY combo of mixed ATs can, point in fact the 2nd one that OOCTS members, me and cp just did was mostly brutes and 3 corrs.....

Just one question: you did with Brutes and Corrs, try with Doms and Stalkers...
