An honest mistake

The people in the cold, dark cellar were all in varying states of death. All except two. Wynd sat huddled in the corner desperately trying to look aay from the blood sprayed across the floor and walls. A tall, dark man in a trenchcoat stood towards the door, smiling at the devestation he had wreaked seconds before.
"This isnt what i wanted" Wynd whispered, trying to tear her eyes away from one of the numerous bodies. Mercifully, she could not see the wounds the demon had inflicted. But she could see the blood.
"But it is..." the demon said sibilantly.
"I wanted revenge... not slaughter..." Wynd said quietly, her voice trembling.
"I threw that in as extra." The man said quietly, grining at his handiwork.
"please... your work is long since done... please... leave..." She said chocking back tears.
The man smiled."No." He said plainly.
"Then i will get rid of you..."Wynd whispered, terrified of what she had unleashed.
"No, you wont. I will get your revenge on all of them. You called me, freed me. I serve your origional intentions." He said plainly. He smiled. "You will not be rid of me, not till everyone is dead, and then you will have the silence you wanted."
Another knock at the door.Wynd looked up, terrified of the imment bloodbath.
"I'm sorry..." She whispered to whoever came through, before the screams began.

Just another day at the office...

If it has
eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.

((ok as far as i know Wynd has set something terrible lose and as far as Jack knows she arrived home covered in blood, crying and has been sleeping a whole day, this is brief writing of his reaction to this, and slightly the rest of his life atm ))

Jack sat and looked at the view, some people would say that it wasn't the 'best' view in the world, but some people would say anything and nothing meant more to him at the moment than her. Tearing his eyes away from Wynd he walked into the kitchen to make himself a drink, what with water being good for him and all. He poured himself something that could, at a push, be called apple juice, he had bought it because of the large 100% APPLE JUICE sign on the front, but now he suspected the bottle was lying, probably 20% of the sickly coctail was 100% apple.
As he poured his drink his eyes strayed to the bin were, beneath a packet of half eaten lasagne from last night was the circlet he had made for Wynd. She had said she 'didn't deserve it' but he rather suspected she didn't like it and had therefore, in a strop, threw it in the bin when he got home. Quietly he went to sit on the sofa and glared at the TV until it turned on, he smiled slightly, he loved being able to do that and as he sat there sipping the disgusting drink he thought back on what had happened over the past month and concluded that in all, it had been pretty bad.
First he had been a wolf... aside from the howling it was a giant let down and despite his recovery he had been told that many people at GG still distrusted him and it disturbed him greatly that people he thought of as friends wouldn't tell him that they didn't feel comfortable around him. Then almost as soon as he had returned Wynd had been captured by some freak from another planet, although he could now laugh about how ridiculous the small blue haired creature had been he suspected that if, not for Shydow, he would still be trying to get Wynd back.
Then almost as soon as Wynd had returned Acenra or Adam's planet had been destroyed by vierosinic... what's his face, whom Adam called Shydow. He sighed, another person whom he couldn't help, by the looks of it this being had no subconscious to manipulate and despite his bravado Jack's powers relied heavily on his telepathic powers. Then during this time he had joined the militia and despite a brief high after meeting the team he was again stuck in a hole. For one, the young lady Ms. Sparrow was adamant not to let him help her, and this annoyed Jack, he realised that his problems may not be as big as Sparrow's but at least he made the effort... Lady Cobra on the other hand was letting him help her, and although he could remove some of her basic dreams without anything abnormal he was reluctant to help with the 2nd part of her dreams. He wished he could but to do so he would need to open his mind to her, and vica versa, he knew he wouldn't pry on her thoughts but for someone untrained it would be hard to block out the other persons thoughts and he knew Lady Cobra would be disturbed by what she found in his mind, whichever part she looked in, all 3 personalities had their secrets. He hadn't done a procedure like this for 20 years and was reluctant to try again after what had happened previously.
Then, before this had even finished, Wynd had started acting strange, claiming the world hated her, that no-one liked her and refusing to be comforted, she spents days sitting and crying and Jack, as far as he knew, couldn't do anything much to help. Now, apparently she had freed something dreadful, by combining the words of Shydow and Wynd he had concluded that at least and again, he found he could do little to help. Wynd had came home at 12:00 covered in blood and crying, Jack had tried to clean her up but she had quickly fallen asleep and he didn't want to wake her. Sometimes he wished he was a slightly more normal hero, they had fun, but no, Jack had to always have something going against him.
As he sat watching TV and glancing through to the next room to check on Wynd one of the darker parts of his mind spoke up, it was trying to get Jack to get to work and go and help people, play the hero etc. For some reason... Jack wasn't listening.
