Maneuvers?

Is it worth it on a thugs MM? The bonus is miniscule and it sucks end, so I'm inclined to just say "no". But I'm getting dispersion bubble (not the singles, too much work) so maybe stacking makes it worth it.

But I'm really thinking it's not ever worth it.

Either of the single bubbles will give you WAY better boost, maneuvers is [censored].

The bubbles give about 4x the defense. Would suggest you try and fit them in your build and use them on your pets, they will live alot longer if you do.

Plus if another villain in your team has shields the defense from stacking shields is great.

I have the shields on my lvl 50 MM and would never give them up. They get to be a pain to apply yes, but so does having to resummon and upgrade pets who have died because they had no shield.

Probably the main reason to NOT skip the targeted bubbles.

You'll spend more time resummoning without them, which means less damage while fighting, which in turn leads to lower speed and more danger. You'll probably end up saving endurance by re-applying the shields as they drop.

I've taken maneuvers and got it slotted up - with Aid Other and Enforcers 3-slotted with Def SO's I can just about get away without needing to apply the single boobles in most cases. Excellent for being really lazy.

If I'm pushing the envelope and playing on vicious, I apply the single boobles too. After all, it's only a short burst of activity every four minutes, way less than anyone else gets away with!

Maneuvers? Waste of a power choice, waste of slots.
There are so many powers available that enhance survivability by a far greater degree. As a matter of fact, there are not that many powers that add less to survivability.

Unless you've a barrelful of Defence to stack it with, of course.
