Squished
[ QUOTE ]
Well, as mentioned, acro only gives mag 1 protection. If you combine that with a lvl 50 cont's AM protection, I believe it might give resistance to one controller hold.
Not all khelds can go dwarf though. I know mine now can't. I'm just not convinced that people understand the meaning of the word inherent.
I'm not sure how I would have worded it myself because I'm not sure what the criteria is exactly - which is all I'm trying to establish.

It's been pretty clearly explained. Any Controller, Defender, Blaster, Corruptor, Mastermind or Dominator. Nothing else. Knight Stalker even listed them in the OP! That seems pretty simple to me. But maybe I'm a genius or something...
And on the 'Not all Kheldians can go dwarf point'. True. But then not all tanks take their shields. But I doubt the organisers are going to want to spend ages checking every Kheldians build.
Let me make this clear.
This PvP Tournament is just for the.
Blasters
Defenders
Controllers
Corrupters
Dominators
Masterminds
No Epic ATS (WS/PB)
2 Man Team
No 2 ATS the same.
10 Man Domination.
Within those rules do as you like.
masterminds, they're no way squishy anymore:P
While I was getting ready to give snappy responses to Bob, I agree that the word "inherent" could have been better chosen.
Mm, Domination gives mez protection!
I may be able to enter this, have to see what my weekend plans are.
there are hundreds of different possible ways a 2man "squishy" team can get mes protection, can we just give the ppl who feel the need to list 1 a gold star and accept that you can use any of them
I don't think folk are getting it. I'm not asking if khelds are allowed. I'm not asking for the list to be changed. I am simply wondering what the criteria for chooing the AT list was. That is all I am asking.
If you cannot answer that then there must be a problem somewhere along the line.
@Sweet Chilli
Looking forward to this even to say the least. Regardless of people insistently picking holes even though no one cares.
I just hope i'm not put against a Sonic Renosance or */Grav in the first match

Well the 6 allowable AT's are the ones most people count as sqishies. Kheldians, while they are squishy out of dwarf form (but then so are scrappers if they don't use their secondary), can have approx. 60% resistance to most damage types. And that's without any external buffs.
I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound very squishy to me.

I wasn't picking holes, I wasn't critisizing, I wasn't arguing. Just wanted to know the answer to a simple enough question.
I'd read what I asked again through non-biased eyes if I were you and you'll see its a very plain, very simple question that just requires a one sentence answer.
@Sweet Chilli
I'm guessing the AT's where chosen because all sets from those AT's do A) get Mez protection in their primary/secondary and B) as a general rule (can) have rather high HP.
Oh, and for the record, AM doesn't work like Unyielding or Acro, it only lowers the duration of the Mez.
The date draws closer, how many teams are we looking at now?
Also, when are we going to find out who's fighting who?

No such thing as too much practice, if I am around I might well be up for a match or two.
Cheers,

On the night....
Whats happening to make it completely fair is im going to draw the teams out of a cup at 6pm for who fights who..
From then the winner from fight 1 will fight the winner from fight 2 and so on....I hope you understand what im trying to explain if not just say ill try and explain it a little better.
Max and Psydock can i have confirmation of a team name please.
No I understand completely.
[Edit] Also if I lose my first match, i'm coming after you KS! [/Edit]
As long as the amount of teams corresponds. If not, you can always make it a round-robin. Btw, I dont remember seeing the timelimit for the matches? is it the normal 10 minutes?
ps. Their team name is Max & Psydock until they decide to change it
