Empowerments
IIRC, originally, the buff length was only 15 minutes. Unfortunately they didn't stack - so the buff length has been increased to a whole hour.
I have seen... but there r the device upgrade that, in the description, say they can build long duration buffs. Then normal empowerment device now gives 1 hour buffs, so why the updated device (that need more salvage) do the same?
My question is: is this only a bug or devs just made it useless, increasing the normal buffs to 1 hour?
I know what you mean but do the higher end empowerment stations have afew more buff options?
Also is it still possible to stack them now if you have multiple stations (you can see how much attention I paid to empowerment stations)?

the larger more power stationare suposed to offer better buffs using more of the second and third tear components however from the ones i tryed so far i have to say im unimpressed they dont seem to make much change at all

I have tested the buffs with both tech and arcane and they don't stack. I have done the tests with an arcane normal device and a tech 2nd lvl device. U can have more different buffs but no way to stack them (also using one from tech and one from arcane device).
Well, i didnt seen any different choice about buffs in the 2nd lvl device: they only costs more salvage and give the same buff as the normal. The only different choice is to build the 3rd lvl device, abiut that i don't know anything as i never built it.
edit: i mean, they give the same buff time,i dunno if they give a better buff in terms of percent. No time to test it.
Can't remember the difference between the 1st and 2nd tier empowerment stations, but the 3rd certainly offers a select few more buffs I'm sure. I hooked up the 3rd looking for the invisibilty buff, and some energy resistance, and +perception, and found them. I'll go back and recheck the differences available.
We actually gave these a trial in a base raid, and hulked on them. Have to say, overall we did notice a enough difference to plug some holes. On the flip side, it's easy to burn through quite a bit of salvage using them.
You are right Mighty, there are some new buffs in the 2nd device as energy resistance that's not present in the 1st, so i expect some new in the 3rd too.
All Empowerment stations offer buffs at the same duration (now one hour) and same "strength".
The difference is the quantity and type of buff offered.
Tier 1 stations have x amount of buffs
Tier 2 have all Tier 1 buffs plus 5(ish) new ones.
Tier 3 have all Tier 1 and Tier 2 buffs as well as some new ones.

From my experience the empowerment buffs may be of help in some PvE situation where a solo player needs help or something, but in PVP they are pretty pointless.

That attack rate buff is pretty damn usefull on a Blaster.

I'd fully agree most of them are almost entirely useless - in either a PvE or PvP context.
KB protection is very useful for squishies, though. Certainly in PvE and I'd have thought an hour of it would be enough to be worthwhile in PvP as well. I'd imagine there are plenty of situations where an hour's worth of End drain resistance could be useful in either, as well.

Don't think it'll carry to the Arena, but it's handy for the Zone's if you're solo.
What's the point of having the upgraded machine if the duration of the buff is the same, 1 hour?
Is this a bug or simply I wasted the salvage building that useless device?
