Disagree! Regen is all about healing back the damage you take. IMO it's better to resist or not get hit at all. I've lost count of the number of times I've seen a regen take a whole mobs alpha strike and faceplant. Regen is all about low down time and damage being healed back. It is a good set, combined with something like katana or BS it can be very 'uber' indeed thanks to DA or Parry giving a great amount of defence.

If one wants to play spines primary effectively, without needing to rely on support, regen is the best choice due to the extra endurance, and the very high survivability.
and plus since you rely on healing you still negate the damage from any attack, even psionic. and if you're lucky hamidon damage if he doesn't 1 hit kill you.
Spines/Dark Armour is a beast of a combo, two damage auras, an awesome self heal, damage mitagation from oppressive gloom. Needs some end management though

can u believe it been playing this game for like 2 years and never been a scrapper i think its time so i was wondering if someone could give me some tips i want to go with spines coz i hear and have seen they are good but im not sure what armour to take i wanna be uber hard of course sick of being a squishy lol so what will it be D/A or Invul or Regen or SR any nice suggestions would be cool thanks peeps
