Usually enough SOs and right slotting does the job for any powerset. But are you considering doing PvP alot aswell? If not, then you might want to focus slightly more on defensive than offensive powers.

You must be doing something terribly wrong. Ive got 2 ss/inv brutes, and playing on relentless since 22/27 without any problems. ss/ offers great crowd/enemy control with st/area knockback and disorients, and rage making sure you hit, and hit hard. /inv brings additional accuracy and about 10% defense, and great s/l resistance so you should be safe vs. most enemies.

I cant show the ench slotting as I dont know how that works in the program(I do in city of heroes/villains of course :P ),but could you try and figure out a good build for me?

Open with red thomax's hero planner from
Drop REl, REn and Hurl, pick up Aid other, Aid self and Invincibility (Get invincibility ASAP, it's your main defensive power)

Hand Clap and Unstoppable are two of those Marmite powers.
Well slotted, Handclap can make you able to tank +5 minions, simply by stacking secondaries on them. Throw them against a Warwall and the ragdoll effect goes berserk, allowing you to finish them off.
Unstoppable is one of those powers you'll love at times, but hate at others, sort of like Rage. Practice is the key here.
