The resist is to YOU being end drained. So it adds knockback protection and protection against whoever might drain your end.
AFAIK, it doesn't affect power sink in the slightest.
Seri you got the wrong end of the stick. The OP was asking a PvP question about the effect of Powersink on Stone/ Tanks and /Stone Brutes who have rooted on.

Yes. Go with their advice. But kiting them so they get frustrated, turn rooted off to try and get slightly better manouverability, then detoggling them FTW!

I'm thinking of respecting my Elec Brute, and I was wondering if even though Rooted has END drain resistance, would my END still go up when I drain a Tanker/Brute with rooted on?
