I thought Grounded had KB res in it.
Grounded has Kb protection. Not as good as Acrobatics, and it works only when you are close to the ground. But having a /Elec Brute myself, I can say it works fine in PvE. I still have to test it in PvP though.
Ramiel is now 42 and tbh i cant recall the last time i got kb, the being close to the ground thing really isnt a big deal..and i have done a good deal of pvp with her too. My advice is to stick with grounded as its more than adequate and has sum other handy effects too! tho my travel power is ss so meh! i love my lecy brute 
With grounded, u can get immobilized, with lightning reflexes u can get slowed, PSI resist is a joke compared to dark armour, vunerable to toxic resists unlike DA ( u need break frees for mayhem mission bosses even with 3 slotted resist in static sheild). However elec has a tier 9 shield power surge which is so much better than a self rez in DA.
With combat jumping + grounded you would have no trouble with immobilizes, but this uses up 1 of ur 3 general pool power types.
With demonic aura u resist even more but still bring break frees for PSI control (which DA laughs off). Dont forget aid self with all the blasters and their 30% unresistable damage - who u frequently find engage u while ur attention is elsewhere, and its going to be too late by the time they are targeted without heal/escape. I dont know how well SS is as an escape power but you will need an escape power unless its 1vs1 and ur not being kited, also tp foe is sometimes the only way you will be able to get a hit on someone wanting to stay at range (since jumping nullifies the knockback protection).
Detention shield, which renders you unable to move, and unable to attack or be attacked; is not in the least resisted, but I assume other AT are the same.
Until they fix fury, you will be dead if u try to build up fury from hero players before ur bar is half full. ATM other ATs have significant advantages over brutes in PvP, especially if heros will not go toe to toe.
Overall it has alot of weaknesses to make up for its high resists with tier 9 power surge not to mention its crash, tier 9 also means its first available in warburg. The AT is also more vunerable to perseption debuffs than a stalker with +perseption or any AT with tactics.
On /Elec Brutes is it worth getting Acrobatics as the KB res is only while close to the ground or not?
