Energy Cloak!
its a very end heavy power this is on the only def power i 3 slotted red end and 3 def
Only got mine slotted 2 end reds at the moment, and works fine - Energy Drain pretty much solves all your endurance needs once it has 3x recharge in.
I'll be sticking the 3x def in there if I find the slots - I should have some spare at 37.
I found that when I got Energy Drain Slotted up that I could swap 1 end red for a def and now have got it slotted 3 def 1 end red

Yeah, once you have energy Drain 3 slotted for recharge it pretty much solves all your end issues so you could move to one end red slot. best thing about Energy Drain is it's auto hit, no accuracy required!

Oh yeah, unless you hit a big mob, unslotted for end mod it'll only fill about 25% of your bar. I think I have 3 end mods in there and I get about 60% back from 1 minion.

Also when 3 slotted for End Mod, it'll tear a huge chunk of endurance from each target...about 3/4s roughly.
Hate to be the one who breaks this to people but Energy Cloak only has 3.75% Def, take it and put an end red in it, and run it all the time, but if your build is tight the extra slots should really be used elseware in your build for doing nice things like DAMAGE etc lol.
I have a lvl 29 EM/EA brute, and can say the Cloak does increase your survivability, especially solo, mainly due to the fact that the enemy standing next to the guy your pummeling still doesn't see you lol, but Energy Drain when you get it means your virtually self sufficient in end, pack green insp, get aid self, get out there and use those slots elsware rather than get 2% extra defence, get the extra heal from aid self, it'll help you survive longer [img]/uk/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
Agreed - energy cloak only has a marginal defence value, but once you hit 30% defence, each additional % greatly increases your survivability, so if you have the slots spare, they are worthwhile. I've fully slotted my attack chain, aidself and energy drain are being finished off at 36, which leaves me with 3 spare slots at 37 - I could put them into my travel power, but SJ really is fine as it is, so energy cloak gives me the best return on the slots.
Then at 38 I've got the loveliness of Overload (with slots at 39 and 40 to spend on it), then i can play with patron powers/pool picks for my last 4 powers and slots.
If you have the slots to spare, they will make you harder to kill, but your main armours, attacks and buffs (BU, Energy Drain, Hasten, aid self) should be fully slotted first.
Exactly what I meant, if you have spare slots slot it with 1 end red and 3 def, until they're spare ie attacks and utilities like hasten, end drain, aid self and attacks are slotted I wouldn't bother either.

Thats good to know already got aid self, am going to go with 1 Decrease Interrupt, 2 Recharge, 3 Heal... or is this not the right way to go?
I went 2 intred, 3 heal, 1 recharge, so i can heal between ticks of DoT reliably, using hasten to make up for the slight loss of recharge.
Apart from that, my insp tray is half greens, half purples - purples for AVs/EBs, greens to supplement aidself.
You are going to 6 slot it anyway, so try a couple of different slottings in there, find the one that works for you.
As Cap'n said there are several ways to slot aid self, i'm trying the 1 interrupt,3 heal, 2 recharge first.
How sould I slot this? 3 def 1 end red?
