You being a /Kin, I suggest to not leaning towards GW just because of the PbAoE +dmg, because it won't do a smidge when you already have Fulcrum Shift. (And Soul Drain has a 4 min recharge.)
The only thing I'd choose GW is the sweet Soul Storm, planned on getting it but been retired on my Corruptor. (stuck at 38)
Anyway, the patrons:
Ghost Widow: Pick her if you drool to that Soul Storm, not to mention the powerful pet. Her armor sounds creepy (not in a good way)
Black Scorpion: Amazing pet, especially if you SB him. A has a defense based armor which just rocks the horse in PvE. Web Envelope will stop fliers and alike down so you can use your AoE to great effect (FS, Full Auto and Flamethrower mainly)
Scirocco: The only thing I'd go for him would be Power Sink, but you already got Transference which is just great alone.
Mako: That waterspout will just mess up the AoEs... ugh.
My personal advice would lean onto Black Scorpion, after all, having +def is good when going to melee to cast off Fulcrum, no?
Good luck with your choice, though, if you have enough [censored] you can level off to 50 (or 47) without a patron, then copy them to Test Server and have a good time checking the powers.
Question about Black Scorpion in loose relation with this? Does the Mace have a draw time? And if it does, then with AR, doesn't this mean double the draw time, double the annoyance?

Got Black Scorpion on my Brute, and you do have to draw the mace, but I don't really notice it much.
The first power you will probably get is the shields, then go for the others.
Yeah I've been thinking of the Black Scorpion, however the mace and AR draw time concerns me a bit. I suppose the draw time with them both isn't so dramatic in the end, pulling out AR doesn't take that long after all.
Edit: Also I can't get all the 4 patron powers, I'm defo getting aoe immo and shield, so should I get pet or the hold? I was thinking the pet, since I see something else drawing part of the damage better than holding one enemy.
The other PPP-powers have slightly more activation time than Black Scorpion's powers have, so this should make things even when thinking about the activation time.
A pet? Or a hold? ... Hmm, a giant-ish robot who shoots electricity and webnades, or a power which allows you to throw one of those webnades yourself?

I've taken Scirroco on my both my Corr's so you'd think I'd suggest him... Wrong.
As a kin with no end worries, Scirroco should be the last one you take as power sink is the only good thing in his set.
It's a straight choice between Ghost Widow and Black Scorpion really. Also worth noting that Ghost Widow will probably take a nerf bat soon when they fix THAT bug on THAT power(those who've been on the receiving end in PvP will know what bug it is

I'd probably go Black Scorpion.
Now that my Corruptor is 40ish, he is AR/kinetics, I need to pick a patron soon so I've been thinking.
At first I was going to go for GW and get shield,hold and the aoe damage drain. The aoe damage drain would be amazing damage boost when combined with fulcrum shift, but I'm not sure if it's convenient in reality. Sometimes its hard to deliver fulcrum shift and live trough that in middle of mob, so doing FS and then activating another AOE damage drain + heals and various attacks sounds very troublesome (especially when buffs don't last that long). Also the hold in the patron set is single target.
So, I was thinking since I'm getting ignite (with a hold or possibly AOE immo it'd be awesome cleanup power for lethal resistant foes) and a hold/immo would really make things alot easier (plus a high lvl corruptor with GW said that GW isn't all that great in the end and that he hardly uses the aoe drain).
So...should I really get the GW for the aoe damage buff or should I just go for black scorpion (I Recall he has aoe immo) or maybe Scirocco?
