Synapse Task Force: Sunday 30th July - 11am
I should be around I'd like to do it with my Earth/Rad Controller
thePhilosopher Martial Arts/Regen/Fire Scrapper
theRegulator Empathy/Energy/Soul Defender
Total Inertia Ice Blast/Kinetics/Psy Corruptor
Total Inferno Ice Blast/Thermal/Leviathan Corruptor
What level of security clearance are you recommending for your recruits Midnight Rose?
I know a few heroes who may well be interested in assisting and if they have the experience you are looking for I'll point them your way.
The task is open to all heroes with a security clearance level of between 15 and 20 initially, although heroes above this level may participate.
Something tells me it won't just be the Clocks that we are up against, but I also have a nagging suspicion that we may get to meet their maker.
Oh, and if any of the Free Clockwork of Dark Astoria are reading this, apologies if my original declaration appeared at all prejudiced.

((Well, count Ana in, please. She is always willing to help a friend - sometimes too willing... - and I enjoyed the last one
Any particular time you were thinking of?))
The Demon of Darkness shall join you to meet Synapse at the time you have appointed. The mechanical minions of The Clockwork King shall feel the force of my fists. They, like others before them will learn to FEAR THE DARKNESS!
(Demon of Darkness is a LVL 19 DM/DA Scrapper by the way. I am not normally a role player type in CoH but when I meet folks who are I tend to play along to make them comfortable, especially in a team of mostly non RP types. I look forward to seeing how the mix pans out on Sunday! Incidentally this will also be my first ever TF )
((Hot Head - read the title
10.50 am for an 11am start on the Sunday
It's been very hot lately so I'll let you off ;D ))
Fear not, Rex Dart - Eskimo Spy will help you in your task. The Clockwork King and his minions have been a mechanical menace in this fair city for far to long. It's time there were put on ice for good.
Now @Eskimo-Spy
I'm not evil.
Ummm, Ummmm if there's a chance than, ummm like perhaps, ummm I could join you.
((If there's space then Caterwail my 16 Kin/Sonic Defender would like to do this))
((Read the title? What do you take me for? I expect my information to handed to me - I certainly don't want to *look* for it!
In my defence, I'm terribly... no, there's no excuse, is there? ))
If there's room I'd like to tag along with my storm defender, Shen-Lung. He should be lvl 15 by Sunday, hopefully higher .

Ok now that the TF is a done deal can I just say a HUGE thanks to all who took part for making my 1st ever TF a SUPERB event!
I look forward to similar event in the future. Higer ones when i get a toon far enough or lower (if you ever do a repeat of the Positron TF)
Thanks again!
((Thanks tyo all who attended and got their shiny badges!
I've now sorted my constant DCing problem at the end (thankfully we had finished the TF itself) so if anyone has a picture of us clustered around Synapse I'd be most appreciative if I could have a copy. PM me for my MSN address.
Arctic Princess
Ana Firebrand
Caterwail
Demon of Darkness
Eskimo Spy
Shen-Lung
6 Heroes are now proud to call themselves Synapse's Cohort, when they fix the Arena we should all get together and re-enact Night of The Living Dead with our shiny new Abomination Gladiator pets!
A big thank you to all those true Heroes who helped us to vanquish Babbage!
Ana would like to thank the Clockwork for giving her the Gearsmasher badge and Kata would like to thank Shen again for being a good pupil and allowing her to take the title of Paragon!
Sister Psyche is a way in the distance but it will be done!
I'd have to say that's one of the most enjoyable TFs i've done in a long time.
A big thanks to the team (and everyone who helped with Babbage) for making it so interesting and captivating, it's makes a big change from the rush through and get it over with way of doing TFs.
And the thing is thanks to Midnight and the rest of the team we kept a steady pace thoughout as well.
I can safely say that Task Force Tornado will remain in my memory for a long time to come.
Now @Eskimo-Spy
I'm not evil.

It's amazing what the mind does when it's bored!
Thanks to Hot_Head for the pictures!
((Nice job with the editing - look funky - and I hope you don't mind, MR, but I thought I'd tidy 'em up a little

Battling the Clockwork King!
Task Force Tornado Complete
I also hadn't intended on have the UI on... silly confusing slash commands but it seems to have worked out nicely .
Heck of a TF though, thanks everyone! ))
Cool n' groovy task force that one . My first attempt at roleplaying in CoX, and was a lot of fun. Exhausting to keep in character all the way through, wanted to say "kick 'em in the kneecaps" several times towards the end but felt that would have been out of character (my inate Essex-ness coming out there ).
All in all 5 star TF .

((Due to the success of the Positron Task Force a few weeks back (thanks to Ana, Illium and Nips ) I would like to organise the Synapse Task Force for the above date. I shall of course be bringing Kata along - but let's hear her take on it....))
Dear colleagues,
I have received a request from Synapse of the Freedom Phalanx to form a task force to take on that tick-tock tyrant, The Clockwork King.
I know that many of you despise the Clockwork: I know in my first few weeks of living in Paragon I came to dread that irritating whirr whenever I ran past the industrial warehouses in Atlas Park or Galaxy City. So I am hoping to be joined by seven valiant heroes to take them on, head first.
We shall meet with Synapse, and his protegé Mynx, in Skyway City near the station at 1050 hours on Sunday 30th July. Please bring all your necessary equipment with you and make sure you have room to carry any 'evidence*'.
For those of you that do not know of me, I am a Worker of Eastern Europe and bring to battle excellent reflexes and, well, um... a big shiny sword!
So if all potential candidates would like to sign up below I will check in on a regular basis.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Katarin-Marie Bromovich.

* by evidence I mean enhancements and the like - i.e. please sell or use everything and make sure you are stocked up with insps - especially Blues !
I personally find it difficult to roleplay task forces but this excercise is intended, hopefully, to bring roleplayers and non alike together. There's also the lure of a ton of inf and big shiny badges....
Kata (Arctic Princess) is level 41 - Katana/Super Reflexes Scrapper
You will be auto-exemped down to level 20 if you are above this level. Minimum level requirement is 15
