iirc mudpots have a tohit check in PvP. Maybe thats the reason of slotting Acc in it. My tanker has end/taunt/damage, never any acc in it.

I think in now needs a to hit check for the damage component but the taunt/slow component autohits.

My SM/SA brute is lvl42 now and I'm wondering how U guys slot mudpots?
I have mine slotted with 3 endred and 3 taunts, but have been reading on US forums many slot accuracy on them 2?
Do U need accuracy on mudpots in PvE?
I use my GA to herd, and don't wanne lose them, that's why I slotted taunt on mudpots...
