What to take next???
as an Ill/Storm you get an abundance of choices in stealth.
Group Invis isn't perma even with 3 recharges in it unless you use hasten where it will be perma with 2 recharges in it. Good thing about this is the ability to grant teammates with invis aswell, and doesn't cost any end apart from the cast cost.
Sup invis is a good power but uses a lot of endurance and I personally wouldn't take that since /storm is a very end heavy set
Steamy mist is "only" stealth where the 2 other powers are invis. That means you will be detected by mobs if you stand too close to them. If you use super speed on top of mist it basically will be the same as invis. On top of the stealth and (neglible) defense in this power it grants a very nice resistance to fire, cold and energy damage.
Personally i would go the steamy mist/super speed route but it's amatter of preferance/playstyle.
You should definately dip in the fitness pool to get stamina. It's basically a necessity with /storm.

Group invis can be perma'd without hasten ..altho I have hasten on most off my illu's now I managed to perma invis without it..

Group Invis can't be made perma with 3 recharges. It may be perma if you put a 4th recharge in it since the downtime is only about 2 seconds but it would just be a waste of a slot imo.

Personally I wouldnt say that 4th slot is a waste if it makes something perma, after all, not long ago we used to 6-slot things I dont have experience myself, but Im getting used to the fact that if the power isnt perma with 3 slots, it isnt with 6 slots either.. ED, bah.
Go for swif(lvl 16)/ Phantom Army (18)/ Hurdle (20)/ Stamina (22)...Or even skip fly until 22 and get Swift at 14 and hurdle at 16 in order to get stamina at 20... Or just respec (i would probably drop flash as it has extremely long recharge time until SOs come along)and get Fitness pool looking for Stamina at lvl 20... You will
love having stamina with 3 end mod SO on it...
Well you have Sup Invis so you can skip Group and leave Steamy Mist off for a while (I love it as a power though)
Normally I'd try and get Freezing Rain at 16 & the PAs at 18 with Stamina at 22. But I think its too tight for that so the PA & Stamina route is how I'd go too. Then FR at 24, Spectral Terror at 26, Hurricane at 28 & Steamy Mist at 30 maybe?
The 20s are always so much fun
Ok peeps, some advice needed here from those in the know...
I have an Illusion/Storm 'troller on the go, currently L13. So far I have Spectral Wounds, Blind, Deceive, Flash and Supes Invisibility with Gale and Snow Storm from the secondary. I just took Hover at L13 with a view to getting Flight.
So where do I go next on the main Pools?
Group Invis seems to be unpopular from what I've read on the forums.
Steamy Mist seems more useful and fits in much better with the character concept but does not stack with the Invis I already have.
In either case they both strike me more as being Defender powers than 'troller ones. Should I just skip em both, get pool powers for now and wait till Phantom Army and Freezing Rain come along?
