Did you use the fire powers on the enemies, or the slick? You need to target the slick with fire/energy damage powers to light it.

I met another problem with oil slick arrow - my fire imps seem to ignore foes affected by burning oil; well, to be more precise, they flee from the burning patch, and wait outside the battle

Is it normal? I mean my other AoE attacks have no effect on imps, so why does oil slick arrow?

It's a known issue with pet AI, no idea if/when it'll be fixed.

The fact imps are afraid of slippery surfaces doesn't amuse me much tho. I thought they are fearless, dammit.

As a fellow fire/Trick Arrow specialist on Union, I have reached the stage of Oil Slick fun, slightly disappointed in its use but with lvl 36, the setting alight of the oil slick looks and feels very powerful( Now 3 slotted for damage) furthermore with the debuffing aspects of Disruption arrow, my Oil Slick is beginning to grow on me.
As far as my Imps are concerned, think of Oil Slick as an area the Imps won't tread, but possible they won't need to either.

I just got my fire/ta troller to lvl 35 and finally I was able to choose oil slick arrow which I started fire/ta for.
), and all combinations in reverse order.
My problem is, oil slick doesnt seem to add any damage when used with fire. I tried with fire cages, hot feet, flashfire, imps, and even with char (which is no fiery really
Could anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?
