the fear power pool is cack compared to darks fear .. i used it to great effect in the RV event ... GET IT OR THE PUPPY GETS IT !

Cloak of fear is a mag 1 AoE fear with something like 50% base tohit and a rather hefty end cost, to stop it being teh uber. It also has a 10% foe accuracy debuff.
If it hits, they're out. I've interrupted AS before just by standing still and watching the foolish stalker try and AS (also not clever since I can see through hide).Although note the IF it hits. It really isn't something you rely on to save you, although since you're a stalker and hardly likely to be ASed it might work even better for you.
Touch of Fear from the primary, however, is AWESOME. 8 second recharge, 90% base tohit, 20% acc debuff. I just seeing brutes or stalkers go "muahahah, you die now" before they get hit by both cloak of fear and touch of fear, leaving them 30% less accurate and cowering in position like well behaved villains should while I beat them senseless.
Whereas invoke panic has 75% tohit, 60 second recharge, 22 endurance cost, and 8 second fear duration. Not worth it really, cloak of fear is much better.
Oh, and more importantly dark has fear resist itself. As a DM/DA, it is my wont to not kill but just annoy all villains. Now that I can no longer check out my opponents powersets, it does come as a nasty joly when someone resists me, and then proceeds to placate+AS as I gawp at my best weapon failing.
But yeah, pool= poo, powerset=power!
Ok, il admit it isn't 100% spot on. But to be honest, I thought of the word, and as it is MY word, I'll decide if there should be a W in it or not. What would you have put? Scrollers? *Fnar fnar*... perhaps Coppers? They are words formed from the two heroic AT names, fair enough, but they don't really go with the whole creepy nefarious image i was attempting to convey.Whereas IMHO, "Scrawler" brings to mind something altogether more evil...so there!

I have a dark / regen little scrawling stalker - hoping to make it a 'everything or nothing' build that focuses on being a hiderance in PvP than a real threat and a powerful multiple mob fighter in PvE.... I'm mad.... :3
breakfree...boom stalker gone...I would never use a power like cof to get out of hide personaly unless I got BU recharged. Its maybe nice in a gank but stalkers aren't supposed to fight a lot of peeps..

Ooooh ho, hell yes. Today I fought a scrapper and a tank, both around level 20 (I'm level 16, we were in BB - so up to 25 we go) and managed to, uh, scrawl away. 
Not win, but I didn't lose either. I lasted longer than I expected and Stalkers are *the* 'Get the bastards!' AT in pvp zones, so I assume with decent doms and brutes to team with I have a potentially devasting little teamer.

Ok, first post- just wondering, how does the dark secondary compare to fear pool powers? Anyone tried it yet?
Is it a viable option in PvP, and could it change the way the AT is played?
For example, you wouldnt have to run so much if you could unleash fear on an angry hero (as it is not commonly resisted) we'd be like scrapper/controllers or something!
Perhaps even...wait for it...SCRAWLERS!
Also, any advice about a Claws/Dark PvE build would be greatly appreciated.( im gonna respec into PvP once i lvl a bit.)
