Good day too you.

I am sent here by the russian goverment and my superiors in the russian army to establish a link between our country and yours for preventative reasons in the fight against global criminals and/or terrorists.

I have spoken to Red Commissar and he has graciously offered me to let me work together with him and his group of heroes as I get a foothold on this side of the world. I will be recruiting foremost military personell, preferably schooled in global comunications and counter-terrorism ops, but also if any heroes feel the need to link america and russia together in the fight against crime you are more than welcome.

I will officialy fill out the forms on the Project as soon as my security clearance passes the appropriate level. Then I will merge with Red Commissars group asap.

End of Briefing.

=======

OOC: I'm looking for people to join my SG, Project I-15. The only requirement is that you wear the standard issue uniform of the group. This means if you already have a character and wishes to join you will need to visit a tailor and get a new set of clothes to match the uniform or if you want you can of course create a new toon with the proper outfit from the start.

I will post the specs of the armor first thing tomorrow morning after I drop my kid off to daycare.

Most suitable is as far as military personell go tech, science or natural origins and blasters and defenders I guess are the most suitable classes. AR and devices feels natural in a military organisation but all powers can of course be used with maybe some modification done to the armor to suit your powers (Maybe a robotic arm like Mega-Man if you're an energy blaster or something like that, I am in no way allergic to compromises)

Mutants and mages and so on and all classes is most welcome of course and modyfing the armour to some extent is no biggie. (For example no helmet for a psychic controller just to mention something off the top of my head...)

We will go into Coalition with Red Commissars group as soon as I hit lv10 and can actually create the SG. (I'm lv 8 now so it shouldn't be too long)

Hope you think this sounds as fun as I do. Keep up the good roleplaying.

Regards.

An interesting idea. Now that I7 is out will you be changing the uniform? Wouldn't a medic be likely to have lighter armour than a heavy weapons or assault trooper? Just a thought on some variations on look and how Ats could fit.

I think all ATs would fit even if it meant just putting Tech down as origins.

I do like the uniform/soldier idea but I wonder how restrictive it would feel in game? Maybe it would be good, sort of a band of brothers thing?

Count me as interested but I'd like some more info about the SG and how my behaviour/character would be restricted?

Let me know and I'll see about creating/converting a character.

I've toyed with a S.H.I.E.L.D kind of idea. this sounds similar and more original.

I'm all for any creative ways of fitting in all origins that people wants to play. The only reason I haven't given any AT-specific armors is that I only made a blaster i.e a soldier and as such I wear heavier armor than for example a medic. I did make a Troller wearing the armor just too see how it look and I excahanged the "Full Helm" for "normal head(?)" with glowing eyes and the "reaper" mask. It looked pretty good actually. He was mind controller I think and I felt it made sense that the helmet was obstructing his powers.

As for the behaviour of your character it depends on what style your playing. The Project recruits both normal military personell(soldiers, medics et.c.) and heroes (All char's are heroes but you know what I mean). I guess heroes and super-powered people would act as more of a special unit with their more unique powers.

As far as general behaviour goes I think people should act as soldiers. This is a military organisation after all. I don't know if anyone (including me) has the energy to pull of a large scale, proper IC recruiting "camp" (Although that would be quite interesting. "How tall are you soldier?!? Five foot, nine. Sir! Holy dogshit, I didn't know they stacked [censored] that high!"), and if so your chars should already be used to military dicipline and such.

As far as different types of attacks goes I've been thinking about stuff like fitting, say an energy-blaster in (instead of the easy-to-fit Assault Rifle-blaster). Costume-parts like the "robotic Arm" with a "Tech"-skin on it would be cool. Instead of the standard rifle, the tech-department has built an arm-cannon (kinda like "Mega-Man"(tm) ).

Now I've been writing alot and I probably missed alot of what I planned to say. But more posts will come.

Regards!

I put together some quick not-very-thought-through ideas for modified armor for different AT's.

Blaster (MegaMan style)

Defender (Medic in lighter armor... it looks crapy but it's just a suggestion)

Troller

Scrapper

Tanker (I ran out of ideas for this one so it looks kinda plain. A few mod's though. I tried to make the armor look heavier, also the char is heavier built)

I don't have acces to Warshades and Peacebringers since I don't have any lv50 chars so I didn't make armors for those. I also have no idea about the abilities that they have so I can't really figure any armor mods out either.

I'll make a character from scratch and try to lev him quickly so he can work alongside you. Are there any particular ATs you would prefer me to choose from? The only one I don't want to play in particular is medic as I'm doing that in The Militia.

Would you like a Russian sounding name or doesn't that matter?

It doesn't really matter what name you have I think. It would be nice to work alongside a countryman but since we are in america any name could do. Naming your char with your last name might be a good idea imo since it makes it natural for you to be "Corpral <insert last name>" or with some other title.

No AT preferenses really. If you want to be more standard soldier like, like myself, of course you'd prefer an assault-rifle blaster, but it's entirely up to you.

Hope to see you soon. And maybe if you're online other hours than me you could keep a lookout for a player named "psycom" he's going to join the Project but we keep missing eachother .

Thanks for the info Vlostok. I'm thinking of an inv/energy tanker, sort of a man inside of a big machine idea(codename T-34 maybe). My other concept is a broadsword/inv scrapper--of course that's a warhammer 40k kind of idea.

Sounds really cool both of them. I'm not fammiliar with 40k, only played FB so as far as I'm concerned that scrapper is not a stolen idea at all

Great

I think I'll go for the tank idea. I'll aim to get started maybe friday night. I'll keep an eye open to say hello although it'll take me a few days to reach a lev where we can team.

Sounds good. The wife will be raiding Molten Core in WoW friday night so I'll be free to sit by the compy.

See you ingame!

This site is good for uniform references. See what you can create or modify in iCON.

Thank you Comrade. I will keep this link for when I get an extra costume slot later. Our uniform at the moment is a bit more combat-based. But it would be nice to have a uniform for formal occasions.

Ben Sablukov's Story

Ben Sablukov, born and raised in America, had dreamed of becoming the next great Ultimate Fighting Champion, but dream was all he could do. A degenerative disease meant that his body was frail and weak, making even the slightest physical exertion a challenge. Ben bravely struggled to overcome his illness but only ended up tearing tissue-paper muscles and snapping fragile bones. His efforts seemed hopeless until a distant uncle, saddened by his plight, told him about Project-I15.

The strange, stern scientists of Project-I15 told the eager Sablukov of the grafting of tissue and nerve endings to a mechanical frame; they also told him of a loss of humanity and no going back. The choice was simple.

Many men would mourn the loss of flesh but for Ben Sablukov, it was all he had ever dreamed of. The pulsing energy of his power core and the impossible strength of mechanical muscles had turned him into more than a mere fighter, he was a weapon, he was a tank! T-34 was born!

A life of violence and war was all that lay aheadÂ…Ben liked that.

[OOC]
A good story. I like it. I guess that since the Project is the factor behind your exoskeleton Vlostok is fammilliar with your background story already. Otherwise a simple background checkup is quite easy for a high officer. I look forward too meeting you ingame. I think we should set a date soon.

Saturday is off for me. IRL reasons. I'll be on maybe a short while. I need to speek to someone IC.
Sunday. Fine
Monday. Fine by me
Tuesday. Fine
Wednesday. Fine by me.
Thursday. Militia night.
Friday in a week. Fine I guess. I seldom plan that far ahead.

Get back to me =)

Regards.

I like to get on for at least an hour most nights so it shouldn't be a big problem. It's worth leaving it a couple of days anyway as I'll need the time to get to a reasonable level for us to work together.

I look forward to sharing some villain bashing time!

It's been to long since I gave this project a thought and Derek has taken up most of the time that I use to play CoH.

Now however I feel the time has come to kick back into gear and get things moving.

Monday, July 3rd. 20.00 GMST (this is the current time right? gmst?)
Official meeting for Project I-15.

Order of the day will be
Enlisting new recruits.
Setting a time and weekday for a weekly meeting.
Testing recruits abilities in real life combat. The Hollows is full of criminal scum and that neighbourhood could really do with a bit of cleaning up.

I invite and welcome of course any new recruits besides the ones that I've already spoken too to join the meeting on monday.

Dasvidanja tavarish.
