I'm interested to know if anyone is still playing their blasterminds... I always planned to make one but the toon has just sat named and unplayed since I7. I played her for the first time this weekend and aside from the fact that I thought it was silly fun I just wondered how possible it actually is with Thugs primary. The endurance use on my attacks seems too stupidly high to remain viable for long...
So... anyone still blasterminding with the thugs set?
I am, I admittedly left my Blastermind alone for a couple of months to focus on other alts, but I went back to him yesterday and went up a level in a rather short amount of time.
I've changed my build however, I've removed the pets altogether, and will be adding Combat Jumping, Superjump and an as-yet undecided other Pool Power to fill the gaps.
As for the Endurance costs, I find so long as you're soloing on Heroic, you have enough Endurance to last you 3 or so White/Yellow enemies, or a Lieutenant and accompanying minion.
Anyone tried out a Ninja/TA blastermind? I rolled on on the weekend but haven't tried it out yet. The plan is to take the pets purely to use as meat shields (constantly in BG mode). I want to try this out as you can't get TA in cov and I guess it will work as a weak defender, but with a lot more HP (coming from BG mode). Any thoughts?
Well, in BG mode, they will attack, so to have them not interfere with your damage, you'd have to leave them unslotted, except maybe for defence.
Played a Thugs Blastermind to lvl 9 now. It's fun but rather tough to solo. Haven't had any trouble getting a team though I do have to suffer several "Get minions/where are your minions/summon minions/wtfrustupidn00b" type comments. Most people seem to think it's at least somewhat entertaining watching a mastermind make a fool of himself.

I haven't ventured into the wonders of teaming yet, waiting until I have a few more useful powers up my sleeve to curtail the abuse. 
Then again, I'll probably only team with friends on this character, at least I know they'll probably tolerate me at least. 
I still play my Thug Blastermind.
I have all the pistol blasts, and the summons so far, the pets are permanantly out, and on Bodyguard. They all cut loose as soon as I get winged, and they soak up a lot of damage.
I've had no problems soloing, but teaming is a little crazy, mainly cos I don't get to keep the aggro, and the pets just sit there if I don't get hit.

I'm going the /Dark route, I would have done /Traps myself, but I already have a Mastermind with that secondary.
