I would still take it but just don't spam it. It can be just as useful a power used reactionary - and the frontline of your team will still love you for it, even if you don't spam it like the majority of Kinetics defenders do (I have arthritis so I know where you are coming from with the difficulty spamming this power all the time!)
Other comments would be that I think you might have a slightly harder time soloing now - ball lightning is a cool power but doesn't do a huge amount of damage and does generate a fair bit of aggro
Tesla Cage is great - definitly get that and slot it.
Acrobatics + CJ can be pretty good - especially since you will be in melee range a lot using short circuit/transference/transfusion etc
Once you get fulcrum you will start thinking you are a god
I know what you mean with Lightning Bolt being a much better single target damage power and a resonable alpha when soloing.
I have been struggling on making the choice although I do find soloing a bit tough with this build but I've maybe not got quite got used to the style of play the skills require.
When would you take Speed Boost? Instead of a current skill or later? I've stretched myself to get hasten and tactics. Is the Leadership Pool worth getting or as the buffs don't stack should I gamble on someone else in the group having the skills. I am really after the Accuracy boost from Tactics. I hate missing.
(I don't have arthritis but do get joint pain so am trying to minimise my spamming of Speed Boost and more importantly I find it a bit dull).

If you are keen on having Hasten in the build perhaps you could drop combat jumping and Superjump and take superspeed instead. There is always the possibility of putting in Inertial Reduction at a later stage which would give the vertical movement. I admit this means you would lose out on acrobatics... but might be worth it to get assault and tactics in there...

Could be wrong about what you mean here, but the buffs from Leadership power pools *do* stack between team members and even if you just happen to be standing near someone with their toggles on in Atlas - this is one of the main points of the pool. The more people have it the better the boost from them!

As for powers I do see where Lord_Giro is coming from, being Speed Boost monkey is annoying but a necessary evil. Get some nice binds for em, there was a few (including my own setup) posted last week.
Lightning Bolt is much better than Charged Bolts imo, but of course you gotta take Charged. I'd take both.
Ball Lightning isn't the best power in the world. Maybe post Fulcrum it'd be well worth it though.
And why Stamina at all actually? Get rid of that and you've suddenly got slots galore...

Stamina because if I'm in Kinetics and Electric mode I drink Endurance like crazy. I know I can rebuff with Transference but if you miss or accidentally target someone out of range....

Zapp is a nice strike but it's interupt time means that it isn't used as much as I thought I'd use it when I got it so I think I can afford to drop it.
I notice you've got aid other, when do use it?

On the melee shy blasters.
I actually took it specifically for that after just being frustrated being told to heal by idiots who kept running away from meleers. It added a nice dimension to the character too.

Personally at the moment I'm level 24 so I've some End issues anyway. But I just tell people to give me their blues. If they say no, no SB for you so Generally folks keep me well stocked up. Ah Blackmail. Food of the gods.
Seriously though you can manage pretty well with End, just avoid over-AOEing. The AOEs eat Endurance and won't steal you any (Elec single target powers occasionally give some of the end drained back to you) so lay off them when times are tight and you should be good.
This build is my own though, lots of things people would disagree with. I just threw it up to illustrate more or less how skipping the Fitness pool gives you so much room to play with.

Ok so I just tried out a build with Lightning Bolts (instead of Balls) and superspeed with (wait for Reduce Inertia for vertical stuff). The key change was taking leadership (minus manoeovers coz i cant spell) + combat jumping as toggles but dropping the fitness pool. My conclusion... a lot more watching my status bars and a little more seat of pants (normally everything is at full for me) however it works. I solod much better as well. I accept that there is life without Stamina although it's a little less cautious.
I now have to decide between combat jump and superspeed.
ColdSpark, why don't you have more End Reductions in Short Circuit? I know End drain is currently a wee bit naff but its still effective when applied a few times. Personally I'd go with End Red & Recharge in it and use it to follow up a Controllers mezzes.
Also you have multiple accuracies in the Siphons but you have Tactics too. I'd drop the two accuracies from Siphon Power and one from Siphon Speed and plug them into damages for your blasts.
Although that said this seems a strong team PvP build too.

Short Circuit is an odd one really... I will probably change the damage to End Mod once I get PowerSink as I figure the two in quick sucession would have a pretty good chance of taking most minions out of the fight for a while. (do you mean end mod when you say end redux btw?)
Accuracy wise, yeah I'm prolly a little over the top with it as stands.... Its not really meant to be a PVP build (I only rarely venture into Sirens) but I did have it in the back of my mind.
Don't suppose anyone has any familiarity with the Elec Epic attack? Sounds very nice in theory...
I'm loving the toon I must say - about the only thing I'd like would be mezz protection but you can't have everything.... Certainly I'd stick with hover for its KB resistance over the meh protection from Acrobatics.... KB is a kin-killer in my book... There's nothing worse than being knocked out of your own heal or transference AOE!
Yep, I've absolutely no mez protection in my build at all. Bound to catch up with me. In fact it has in the past. I've had a warrior knock me into viewing range of a passive group and barely survive (gotta love the Kinetics heal).

1. Note that this will be my first build without Lightning Bolt as I reckon that Ball Lightning may be a better choice (AOE so more effect in total) however I will miss LB. Comments?
2. I want Tactics as I hate missing! (I haven't ran Tactics before).
3. Where would you build from here? Acrobatics, Speed Boost, and Tesla Cage all look attractive. Tesla Cage looks most appealing as next power. I will take Fulcrum Shift as soon as it's available.
4. Swift or Hurdle? I took Hurdle as I'm a SJer will it help or should I take Swift for moving around mission maps faster.
