It seems alot more people are giving PvP a go these days. I've had alot more fun in Sirens recently, both on Union and Defiant. More people seem to be teaming and actually working together, making for much more interesting fights.

I also tried out Chakyra, my fire/thermal in Sirens last night, and with a bit of teamwork, actually did quite well with her too.
Sure sometimes the balance is squiffy, too many of one side or other or 200 stalkers on the map,lol but it is good fun and I wish I had tried earlier.
The main reason for my post is that I wanted to show that I used to hate pvp but if u give it a chance and go in to have fun, it is well worth it.

Teaming is a key element for getting beginners to enjoy PvP - if you're just wandering round on your own, getting ambushed and mugged by a gang of enemies every few minutes, then that's sure to put you off.
But when you're with other who you can talk to and get advice from, and who can help watch your back, then you see it in a whole new light

I'm just amazed that I managed to not only pop an Awaken, but make it in to the mission before getting splatted! Surviving FTW! I'd like to thank Empath's (apparently) inviting corpse for the distraction.

I actually saw you rez, and was in the middle of deciding whether to let you limp off, Levitate you, or /e drumdance on Empath's head - by the time I'd decided, you'd already gone.

It's funny, I'd said over team chat that I was wondering why there hadn't been any stalkers trying to splat me (first time I'd taken my baby 'troller into Sirens), and a minute later you were tapping on my shoulder! Guess I was lucky we had +damres and that I was standing in the radius of Steamy Mist.
It's nice to see new faces in Union PvP though, even better to see new villains.

On second thoughts, I think I'll shelve any plans to play on Union for the time being
