Plant/Fire respec - opinions?

Hey good people!

Did the respec mission last night, so it comes time to sort out a few bits and bobs on my plant/fire dominator, and thought I would garner opinion here!

So, the powers I’ll definitely be getting are:

Plant Control: my two holds, Strangler and Roots; two soft control, Seeds of Confusion and the awesome Carrion Creepers; my pet, the Venus Fly Trap; and my single target immobilise, Roots.

Fire Assualt: three single target attacks in Flares, Fire Blast and Blaze and two AOE attacks in Fire Breath and Combustion.

Power Pools: Swift, Health and Stamina from Fitness, Combat Jumping, Super Jump and Acrobatics from Leaping and Stealth from Concealment

So, that leaves me two powers to play about with. I’ve tried the snipe, Blazing Bolt, and found it didn’t really fit with the two primaries. I’ve tried Consume and that’s still a possibility, but wasn’t up enough to be useful. I don’t like the AOE immob as it draws aggro like no other power I’ve used, and the Sleep Spores and Tree of Life don’t appeal to me.

I have been considering picking up invisibility, to improve my ability to stealth missions – particularly newspaper ones. I’ve also looked at Hasten, simply to improve the recharge rate of key powers like the Creepers when I’m on a team. Medicine pool is another possibility, especially considering the squishy nature of the Dominator.

Any thoughts?

The medicine pool could be very helpful, it would mean alot less downtime when solo or with a non-healing villain(s).

But then so would the invisibility pool. Be helpful that is.

I second the medicine pool, it's a good choice for a dom.

I've found the medicine pool very good and very useful but you'll know by now whether you need it; Hasten is also great. I ended up essentially having no choices from the power pools - I just took what I had to - Leaping, Speed, Medicine, Fitness. I went for Hasten rather than Stealth simply because I'm up close so much.

Just wondering is Fiery Embrace really not worth taking?

I would think it is worth taking, one of the main reasons why fire secondary on a dominator is one of the best.

I'd recommend blazing bolt, it's one of the Dom's highest damage attacks and thats what you want-damage?
