Acenra made his way along the streets of steel canyon. his self imposed exile from the school had meant that he had absolutley nothing to do. and even he knew that without the education from school, he wouldn't be allowed a hero lisence, meaning that if he saved a life, he would be fined a hundred dollars and seeing that he cant pay, he'd be thrown in jail.
"I am so bored..." he whimpered silently "I could be in music class by now, but my stupid test and that accursed demon made things worse... I should of never come to this city"
he took a seat on a near by bench and took out a map to look for a charity building where he could give the money he was given earlier that day. to keep his profile low, he clicked his fingers and a trilby appeared. he then placed it on his head and tipped the brim to hide his face.
"Myrtyl!" Pious screamed, as he ran into the lake.
"I'm fine"
"Let me help you up" he said, reaching out his hands.
"If I'm getting wet, then so are you" She grabbed his hands and yanked him into the lake, giggling madly.
"Ha, ha, very funny" Pious said, splashing water at Myrtyl.
"Oi" She exclaimed, trampling through the water to get on top of him.
"What? You started it"
"No, you started it" she whispered to his face.
"You pulled me in"
"You pushed me in"
"Oh yeah? And who's to blame?"
[The two were practically whispering at each other's lips, soaked and semi-submerged in the lake]
"You can't handle it can ya.. beaten by a girl"
"Technically, its a tie game"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah"
[Myrtyl gave in to the tension and bit her lips]
"You were about to kiss me there"
"Oh is that so?"
"Yup, you bite your lips everytime you feel like a ki-"
[His words were cut short as Myrtyl kissed him. He kissed back.]
[Several seconds later, unbeknown to the kissing couple, the water around them had parted as they rose above the canopy and into the sunset]

((Paragon High is a school in Galaxy City for young heroes. It is still the first day of school and kids are just running around and stuff for now. I think its after-lunch at the moment, Acenra is exiled I think and Tyler is chasing him for some reason and Pious is in the virtual simulation training room with Myrtyl. Other kids are about doing thier businesses I guess. There's a list of teachers with a rough explanation of NPC's somewhere.))

((Okay, from looking through this thread, I can see why it ground to a halt.
One: There was no posting order whatsoever, meaning the flow of time skewed and hard to follow. When people can post in any order they want, it gets really, really hard to follow.
Two: Without such an order, players who can't post as often (Say, people at work who can't access the forums during the daytime) often get left in the wayside.
And this relates to a point that Hoplite made, Forum RP is typically slower than tabletop or messenging RP (though not as slow as play by e-mail!). Therefore, patience is a needed virtue for such a way of playing.
Plus, a GM for the RP is usually needed to clear things up and unify NPC's, and it's an involving, busy job, one that you've said you're too busy to run it yourself.))

I personally learnt a little later.. perhaps too late.. that it is actually supposed to go slow, what with the waiting for everyone to post some reaction before progressing the status quo. I ran out of time to continue this thread and thats why it slowly dsecended into madness,however,as I now have much more free time on my hands I would love to continue.
If I am shown interest again,then I'd like to start a new thread,but I'll need a couple of days to plan it out so it doesn't end up like last time.

[Myrtyl keyed in an atmosphere and designed a background from the control panel. The room began to take form]
"Forest?"
"Yes Pious, I like the open.. we'll have a lake as well, and a golden sunset"
"Are we romancing? Or are we sparring?"
[Myrtyl giggled and disappeard in a wash of orange sparkles]
"Aww man. If you go invisible, how can I fight you?"
[Suddenly, a giant forklift appeared from thin air, it hovered there for a while]
"Oh boy.. err, Myrtyl.. you're not really gonna throw that at me are ya?"
[Giggles came from behind the forklift. Suddenly, the thing came huttling at a dangerous speed]
"Damn it!" Pious screamed as he was knocked ten feet across the forest floor. "Okay.. I get it"
"Good, 'cos that was pathetic!" she barked. "I win.. Lets go again!" Another forklift hovered in the air.
"You dont scare me. I can go invisible too remember?"
"Try dogding this for starters" And the forklift came huttling at Pious once again.
"Same trick wont work on me twice sweetcheeks"
[With that, a bolt of sheer force collided with the forklift, sending it directly at Myrtyl.]
"Arrr" she screamed, as she was hit clear off her feet and into the lake.
