I don't think it was Nerfed, and it's certainly a fun power. But it'll chew through End damn quick and can be quite the annoyance to those that need to get in to Melee.
On the other hand, the badump-sproing noise is indeed amusing.
Basically, if you've the spare power/slots and you've nothing else to take, it can be fun/handy to keep nasty critters out of Melee, like Warriors.
Repel can be a very useful power, but you shouldn't do anything like what you jsut said.
On my Corruptor, I don't go charging through mobs. You should get it later, when you have Transference... You will never have endurance problems.. by that time you will have stamina as well, and will be able to SO with EndRdx.
I play just as I normally would, but just keep it on for people that will come in for UberMelee damage. Otherwise it just gets TOO annoying for anyone else.
One thing I have noticed with Repel, if you stand next to a mob constantly, you will constantly pay the hitting endurance price, therefor draining your endurance in seconds. Best way to use the power is just nip in to knock them down, then move back, as they start to rise again, repeat. It's quite easy with a Siphon going aswell. There's no way i'd be able to solo the likes of Purple Abbo Rectors on my Ice/Kin Corruptor without it 
Using repel around a tanker in the team pve the tanker can hate you for it unless you career foes to a corner, using repel against a tanker in pvp the tanker will hate you for it because the chance to drop their toggles is like WOW!.
Is it a great power? most definately yes, it is in the right hands.

Storm Defender Tank at your service. I held Infernal for the best part of half an hour when my Scrapper DCd!!!

Or so I thought until I acctully got to use it and after going through a mob suddenly found my self without any end!
The reason for this was that Repele not only cost End all the time like all toggles do but every time you bump into a foe it drains you of a large amount of end.
So I'm just wondering since it's such a great and powerful power in theory just the kind that attract nerfing and since it's the only power I know of that you have to pay for twice, if it sometime in the past have been nerfed?
