must say i love my robo/poison MM, robo is just insane damage and from poison you get a nice single-target heal, clear mez, debuffs, single target hold, cone slow (which is a great combo with assault bot's incendiary rockets) and if you team alot you can even get a decent rez. Till now I have been able to solo every AV i met (before the AV->EB change) so cant say im complaining 
only prob though is that its quite heavy on the blue stuff if you are an active MM like me. With active i mean a MM who DOESNT just send his pets at an enemy and stand in the back, tossing an occasional heal or buff his pets way. Also i found out that hasten is kinda a need to have as well.
However, being the "best" char is really a matter of taste and what you want to do (team/solo? damage/support? etc)

Is that damage output based on after lvl32? i'm at 31 now, i cant realy say my pets are doing "huge" damage output even after my /poison -res/-def debuff.

My first MM (Herbert West Reanimator) was Necro/Poison and I got him to level 30 very quickly, but hated the poison pool right from the start. So I killed him off and created his sister, Harriet (who had stolen his secrets and reanimated her brother as one of her zombies) who had Dark Miasma as a secondary. The only reason for not picking DM originally was that Mistwitch is my lvl 38 Dark/Dark defender and I always prefer to try out new powers.
Harriet West has now reached lvl 38 and has Dark Servant to compliment her army
combined with 3 zombies, 2 grave knights, 1 lich and an occasional ghost
ooh, what fun!! I love the holds and debuffs from the Dark Miasma pool combines fantastically with the pets.
I have mainly been solo throughout all this time, because of the antisocial times I play and the fragmented time I get (kids, dont you just love em), but Harriet is the proud leader of the Sisterhood of Hades Supergroup. She has played in Supergroup mode more or less exclusively since her creation and I have no shortage of infamy due to intelligent selling of enhancements.
Definitely one of the best characters I have played

If you want pvp, Ninja/ff.
If you want pve, whatever works.
Also note that everyone is biased when talking about pets, but the truth is ninjas own

Robo/Traps reminds me of the villains in comicbooks having a nice tripmine waiting to trap their pray (Heroes ^^) Hence why I choose to make one. They seem like a good opertunity to RP to me however if thats not your thing go for Robo/FF.
Of course i am a Sci Fi fan so i chose robots i'm sure traps can go with the other powersets too.
Rite ive nver played one before at all soooooo im thinking what will be the best power set for them e.g robots ninja etc........ please help
