I took the force epic for my ice/nrg, not only it suits more but you already have 2 hold on the ice/ and 1 hold on the /nrg (total focus) regarding static-discharge. Sure elec-armor has more resist base (nrg), but once you start FoN, TI and a breakfree you become a pretty-close tanker :P Hit PFF and you're close to immume all

Well, elec is meant to be pretty decent, although, as said before, it's mainly good for the hold, and you already have quite a few. I think Force Mastery is fantabuloso.... Force Bubble is good for PvP, FoN is amazing resistance, and Temp Invul isn't half bad either. However, for an NRG secondary, Repulsion field is pretty st00pid.

One main thing worth considering if you haven't already chosen an epic is the def and res figures for the shields. The figures unslotted according to my planner are:
Fire Shield: 30% res Smash/Lethal and Fire, 10% res Cold
Charged Armor: 19.25% res Smash/Lethal, 14.5% res Energy
Temp Invul: 22% res Smash/Lethal
Frozen Armor: 20% def Smash/Lethal, 20% res Cold
Body Armor: 11% res Smash/Lethal

Frozen Armor: 13.6% def Smash/Lethal, 20% res Cold
Charged Armor: 19.25% res Smash/Lethal, 14.0% res Energy
Fire Shield: 19% res Smash/Lethal, 14% res Fire, 7% res Cold
Temp Invul: 20% res Smash/Lethal
Body Armor: 8% res Smash/Lethal (Auto power)
This would mean that elec one is the best, as energy is the third most common damage type.

Just slot 1 recharge or a end-red in it.. The base stats are already topnotch, though i tried to see if a lvl51 AV was able to hit me with PFF/FoN/TI on.. 
But since you are running on kinda cap resist/def all, not much
My previous build was Force epic based too, but having SJ/CJ/acro as trvel, having imm/hold/KB resist you can perform extremely well with FoN/TI. The moment your health drops, pop PFF (maybe an extra purple) and most of the times you can heal easily yourself with the medicine pool. Using powerboost you even increase the healing (most people dont know that )

Joe Chott 1.5C, which I realise is wrong on many ocassions (says Mind Over Body gives a base 50% Smash/Lethal res 
) but I didn't know of any others considered to be better. Will check out that one now you have mentioned it, thanks

In one level it's time for my blaster to choose epic. It's an Ice/energy. I'm thinking about force mastery for pers ff, temp invlnurbility and force of nature or the elec epic for the hold armor and static discharge- is discharge any good? or fire epic for char fire shield.
