It's 5%, but I don't think that defence debuffs from different attacks stack.
In General, all debuffs from different powers used by same source, same powers used by different sources, and different powers from different sources stack. However, debuffs from same power and same source do not. There are few exceptions, and also things like tar patch and freezing rain stack with themselves as the multiple summons count as different sources.
So 3 slotted it would be 10%ish defence debuff.
Wondering how much difference that would make, I've also noticed that you don't get the debuff icon appearing on an enemy if I hit them with a BS attack so although the text says I hit reduce there defence, I don't know if it actually does!
What enemies have got high defence that I can test this on? Rikti drones spring to mind.

I know that, but I think I had seen something a while ago saying that BS attack debuffs don't stack. Not 100% sure on that though.
You'd be better off slotting for ACC and DMG, the debuff really isn't worth it.

Well, slotting for Def bebuff could conceivably help the aim in the OP (helping a team-mate's follow up AoE to hit) which certainly couldn't be acheived by slotting for accuracy.

But the debuff is so small and so brief in duration that there are almost certainly better uses for the slots.

i tested my defence debuff of my slash on test with a chance meet with a blaster from another server and he said that after testing the def debuffs added duration, i did 1 debuff, 2 debuff and 3 debuffs in the test and i think iirc 3 debuffs was 12 secs and 1 debuff was 8 sec but i was having to take his word for it.

Anyone know what % the -def is on BS attacks?
Am thinking about putting -def enhances in my AoE (DoT as well) attack thinking it'll lower the enemies defence a bit to allow a follow up aoe from a team mate
