What level are you at? The FF shields only really come into thier own when slotted with SOs, and if you only have the first one remember it only protects against S/L and melee. With your ninjas fully bubbled you should find they don't often get hit.

Ok I have a bots/ff MM at lvl 38.
FF powers I have taken are as follows:
Force Bolt - no choice but it is good anyway
Deflection shield and insulation shield - both of these are great when used in the right circumstances, best used on team members and only on henchmens when you are having a tough time
PFF - my favourite power in the set
Dispersion bubble - great in PvE as adds status resistance to an AT that doesnt normally get it
Repulsion Bomb - I dont like this does not damage and doesnt really disorientate enemys at high lvls so I am going to drop it for either provoke or Det field
Force Bubble - great against melee only enemies, can draw a lot of aggro and very end hungry. I use it a lot but then am fighting people who would hurt bots in combat, it probably wont be that useful to a ninja/ff MM.
With these powers I still took 6 powers from my primary (left out the attacks) and got aid other, aid self, resucitate, assault and tactics as well as a travel power.
For a ninja/ff I would probably take the following FF powers:
Force Bolt
Deflection shield
Insulation shield
Detention field
PFF
Dispersion bubble

Personally I would always bubble my henchies, particually with ninjas, since the +def from the bubbles will stack with the ninjas built in +def. It'll be significantly more effective than with bots.

Let me tell u what i think the problem of Ninjas is. The Ninjas them selfs r really good for pets BUT i completly hate the bow, keep in mind that this toon of mine is pritty high

i totaly agree about the bots
I have both, 2 MM a lvl 37 bots\traps and lvl 26 Ninja\poison There both are pretty good. A dual between the two would be interesting. Ive been playing my ninjas more recently as I have been able to equip SO enhancements, makes a big difference.Just need to respec both to change some secondary powers and I'll be happy.

Well i finally made a duel with a bots MM and a mercs MM.
with bots:
Oni vs assault - oni won by far
jounin vs protector - jounin won by far
genin vs battle drones - drones won by was pretty close
with mercs:
oni vs commando - oni won, was pretty close, and when commando had serum it was almost a draw but still oni won
jounin vs spec ops - jounin didn't even get hit
genin vs soldiers - soldiers won, and they fared better than bots.
all ninja vs all bots - ninja won - was a close one
all ninja vs all mercs - ninja won by far
These were done without any interference from the MMs, with bots we had to use supremacy since the other MM didn't have FF, but with mercs the pets were completely by themselves.
Now, truth be told i might be a bit worried about a zombie - ninja duel, since the zombies debuffs are pretty good, still i have confidence in my Oni 
Sorry about the duel I was meant to take part in I lost the mapserver just as your oni unleashed firey death so if you want to try bots without supremacy just let me know.

The all pets duels were made with interference from MMs.
Ok i already have a very successfull bot/dm in which i have no attacks, just heals and debuffs.
I have now made a ninja/ff and im really confused lol, as in my previous mm im looking to have as few attacks as i can get as that fits my pve play style. I would also like the medic and leadership pp but i really don't know how to sqeeze it al in as most of the ff's look good on paper, really need a heal though lol quite often seem to be having to resummon at least 1 of my ninja's when i come across purples which my other mm has no problems with.
what im looking for hear is advice on which ff's are good and which are to be avvoided/are not really important.
