Try and think about your character's past and his or her personality, when you have an idea about that, act the part, like a tv or movie actor would, except there is only one take

The roleplay guides are usually a good start, but think of it a little as acting. You create a character (Just try and not make him/her so unbelievably powerful they could well have been a god. This is called 'God-modding' and is often viewed as a bad thing. Also, a character with flaws is a lot more fun to play.), and you create a background for them, like what they have done in their life, what made them decide to become a hero, how they got their powers, etc.
The sky's the limit, and RP is generally viewed as a good way to express yourself, to make a difference where you perhaps can't in real life. It's a way to relax and have fun with other people, like solving a mystery together.
Always feel free to ask questions. Some people might not be as patient as others, but generally speaking, most of the roleplayers around the Galaxy Girl statue, are more then happy to answer questions.
I'm kinda new to the game and fairly intrigued by this RP setup. The problem is that i dont have any experience in roleplaying and that i havent the faintest clue as to what people do while rp-ing or how they do it. I could sure use some info on this and mayb i'll take it up.
