OMG sounds like it will be a bit hero heavy. I might have to log on to me stalker just so you guys have some one to chase over sirens.

A "bit" hero heavy would be one way of putting the current situation.

Really... a fight night's a great idea, but until numbers even out more, calling for laods of people to come to the zone always just seems to end in a really one-sided fight.

I wanted to bring one of my Controllers out myself, but when I saw how few villains were around, got my Corruptor instead. I wish more people would do the same - I just don't see how this kind of thing is fun for either side.

A quick tally at the worst point indicated a ratio of at least 5/1, hero/villain. If you're going to have a "Fight Night", then you'd at least expect the more experienced PvPers - and "organisers" - to bite the bullet and come over to the villain side to at least even things up a bit. I logged in on Gonzo, had a quick scout about, and swiftly made the decision to relog over to CoV _ I'm actually a little saddened that so few of my fellows decided to do likewise. Yes, we all know it's "not a committee", and there's no way we're going to get a fair fight - but rushing the villain base in teams of 20-30 at a time isn't fun for anyone involved. This was proved by the fact that heroes left halfway through, in fact.

After that swathe of heroes left however, maybe reducing the ratio to 3/1 or 2/1, things became a little more interesting. A small shake-up on the villains side (and actually managing to assemble a team of 8) resulted in quite a fun time - still being swamped was a hell of an issue, but I think it was worth it in the build up to the finale of heroic-death that saw so many scrappers fall... and no villains, despite my hovering in the red for about 3/4 of the massacre. Fun times, in the end - nothing quite like a barbecue.

It was really weird tonight as everyone seemed to take offense very quickly with things being said. Obviously something in the water ...

Didnt bother me, I take my large helping of debt and 6 SO's. As the evening progressed it did get alot better - heros and villains were still going at it with it very finely balanced (5/6 members a piece). We all signed off at 1.20 (got to love late nite pvp).

I was tired last night, so any snapping wasn't meant, though i did have a lot of fun

Great attacks and tactics from the villains side, got killed more than i usually do, but it's all in good fun

Got 3 SO's and upped my PvP rating again, so i'm happy with that.

I siad I would post some thing today so here go's. Last night PvP night was not as succesfull as I thought it was going to be due due to a small number of players decideing to go out of there way to grief other players bu this was only one of the things that I think spoilt the night. The Fact that there where people shouting out for teams on both sides of the fight I did find a bit dissapionting as well. I have no Idea why so many people didnt want to team last night but I if it is for the reasons of bounty or PvP rep I do find this very sad, as I didnt organsise this night so people could boost there pvp night it was just for fun hero vs villains mass fight. Also a lot of the complianing about kill stealing not getting bounty ect ect last night was anoying as well in a big pvp fight its going to happen so deal with it I say.

But the thing that I disliked most about last nigth and what made me leave my own event early was the fact that it just turned int to a base camp out agian. Why oh why do people do this its is no fun for the villains its no fun for us heros (Yes I was on a hero last night but only because I have mianly PvPed my villains) it just desened in to about 20 mins of name calling and when I asked the heros to move abck to let the villains out so that the fights could begin agian I was ignored. One of my close friends was so anoyed at last night that he has decied to only PvP on defiant as of now as he siad "its just more fun there".

I do want to make this a weeky event but not if its going to be like this every week what we need is some sort of CoC for the fight nights and a system of getting every one in to teams as team PvP is so much more fun. If any one has any ideas on how to make this event more fun pls let me know.

Sorry to burst your bubble Phil, but plenty of heroes were outdamaging and outliving you - no disrespect or offence intended, it's just that I don't find the majority of Scrappers to be particularly scary.

Sometimes, people just don't want to team with other people - such is life.

Base camping is lame, agreed. Base camping with such overwhelming odds is so far beyond lame it beggars belief.

I agree that some people will not want to team and such is life but in a mass PvP event like last night the only reason I could see for people not teaming was so that they could PL there PvP rep by getting cheap kills I.E. getting the last hit on some one else target.

I do agree that last night base camping was awfull there was no sports man ship involed in it at all it was just a case of ohh look some has come out charge. I was on my Scrapper last night due to the fact that I wanted to PvP with him as I have normaly always gone over to my villains every time in the PvP zone due to the fact that there are never enought villains in the zone. I was on my controler for 30 mins before I got fed up of not being able to get a team to help keep her alive or get an effective kill every one else was getting the reward from my hard work.

Im thinking of holding the event in bloody bay next week and the week after going back to sirens and vias versa so that its a bit of a change and it also lets people that are not hight enought to get in to sirens. Aslo when I held it there it was easy to say meet at ground zero for fighting.

I would love the fights to take place near the center of the maps as and if at all possible to keep them there as I have siad before base camping is lame and all its dose is cause arguments. But I do think they have added some sort of deffence to it as I did see an abriter drune leave its spot last night to go wipe out some heros on mass and mobs that came out of no where to attack people and I also saw a few lv 43 arachnos about as well.

Sad to hear it messed up - last week ( which you organised unintentionally ) was pretty good. I couldn't make it this week but even if I could I would have had to be a hero - my villains aren't high enough level for PVP, and given my levelling rate and me focusing mainly on Interlink this is unlikely to change any time soon (My Brute could probably be done soon, but I don't play that much anyway).

Anyway, please don't give up on it.

Oh, and huzzah for people that moved from heros to villains to even the odds. True heros all.

I was in a full team of heroes and enjoyed myself. I do sympathise with the villains being outnumbered but unfortunatly not everyone has high lvl villains or has found a villain type they enjoy playing with yet so can't switch sides.

My team hung back a few times to give the villains some space to move. Staying in the hero base once or twice. I think it just comes down to PvP being more popular for people with heroes. How many villains were there that don't frequent these boards? I didn't call out for heroes to enter Siren's but there seemed to be new people turning up all the time and some leaving.

I look forward to I7 when Villains can be lvl 50 too.

I didn't see many people on the villain side broadcasting that they needed a team. Early on it was happening, but the team I was on was full, so there wasn't much that could be done. I'm pretty sure there was another team that was picking up some of those people, though. A little later on after a good number of villains left, around the time of the base camping, I was on a team of five or six. At that point, I really didn't see many people past our team, which explains why we were almost incapable of really getting out of the base - the number of heroes was really at its peak from what I saw, which was a rather unfornate piece of timing. Various people were invited to the team as it went on, and we ended up with a team of eight - we certainly weren't denying people a place on the team based on bounty or rep.
